Understanding the dress code is essential for a respectful and enjoyable visit!

For men, the traditional attire is the thobe, a long white robe. It's comfortable and widely accepted. Just remember, shorts and sleeveless shirts are best avoided in public spaces.

Women don't have to wear an abaya or a loose-fitting black cloak, but dress modesly and avoid revealing cloths.

At beaches and resorts, swimwear is fine, but always wear a cover-up when leaving the beach area.

Remember, modesty is key. Dress conservatively, avoiding tight or revealing clothing, especially in religious sites.
