1. That it be heavy (thick) and not transparent as to what is underneath it.
2. That it be loose ( wide, not tight).
3. That it covers the whole body.
4. That it is not a dress that makes one stand out.
5. That it does not resemble the clothing of disbelieving women nor the clothing of men.
6. That it is not a dress of beautification that attracts looks.
7. That is not scented (perfume or incense).
