This stunning view enjoyed from every room, instantly captivates guests, inducing a sense of utter relaxation and peacefulness. Complimenting that of nature, interiors and finishes have been carefully chosen to further enhance the natural textures and colours of this tropical paradise island. The three storey Maison with its unique Creole vernacular architectural style, boasts open plan living on the ground floor with contemporary furniture. and DVD player with surround speakers. The dining room also seating eight is adjacent to the fully fitted kitchen with top of the range appliances. With folding stacking doors opening up to the large patio complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture, many alfresco dinners or sundowners can be enjoyed. Extending from the patio, a manicured private garden complete with tropical plants leads onto a private jetty for the convenience of boat enthusiasts who wish to explore the inner islands and beyond. The first floor features two air-conditioned spacious bedrooms. Master bedroom boasts a king size bed with plush bedding and in-room safe and hair dryer. It has an en-suite bathroom complete with bath, shower, double vanity and separate toilet and bidet. Second Bedroom features two single beds with en-suite bathroom complete with shower, single vanity and separate toilet. Bedrooms lead onto an oversized covered balcony complete with four cushioned recliners ideal for that afternoon siesta, reading a good book or just merely taking in the beauty of paradise! Second floor features a functional air-conditioned bedroom ideal for the business man seeking refuge from the rest of the household and is complete with office desk and small lounge. Alternatively, this large bedroom is ideal for children sharing, as it features two single beds and a queen size sleeper sofa with en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower, single vanity and separate toilet. The townhouse, ideally positioned with the powdery white, Anse Bernitier beach, a mere 50m away provides safe swimming for adults and children alike. Anse Bernitier with its crystal clear waters and colourful coral, teeming with a plethora of marine life will ensure hours of entertainment. Within walking distance away, the protected newly opened Anse Bernik beach is also awaiting to be explored. Anse Tec Tec beach is the third beach on the island and is either reachable on foot or for the not so fit, on the complimentary golf cart. Eden Island has two swimming pools, both with separate kid's pool. The one closest to our property is approximately 200m away and the other, slightly further away is positioned at the clubhouse. The clubhouse offers guests a fully equipped gym, well stocked Deli, lounge area and jungle gym for the children. Other facilities on offer are two restaurants, the Boardwalk bar and lounge, located on the boardwalk, a mere 100m from the super-yacht pontoon, which plays host to live bands and DJs on certain evenings. It also has two big screens which feature international sports. The other Restaurant is Bravo on Eden, located at Eden House. This restaurant with a great venue and exciting menu will welcome guests, treating them to an array of flavours from around the world. For the guest looking to explore further afield, Seychelles with its year round average temperature of 29degrees Celcius has something for everyone. From golf, horse riding, sightseeing, hiking, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, beach hopping, diving, exploring the inner islands; the list goes on and on, so why not make this dream destination a reality today!

Seychelles reclaims Travel + Leisure 2021’s award for top island destination in Africa & Middle East
Seychelles has beat off competition yet again as it scooped for the fourth time, the prestigious Travel + Leisure 2021 World’s Best Award as the top island destination in Africa & the Middle East.
Reclaiming the Number 1 spot (which it also held in 2019), Seychelles, an acclaimed pristine paradise set in the Indian Ocean, and “the eighth wonder of the world” as one Travel + Leisure reader characterised it, praising it for its “exquisiteness”, emerged top in its category, scoring 88 points, and is followed by Zanzibar and Mauritius in second and third position respectively.
This year's standouts are as far-flung as ever, the magazine said, announcing the results of the survey which allows readers to reflect on their travel experiences, and suggest a renewed appreciation for places that offer unparalleled natural beauty and, in many places, fewer crowds. Honorees of the awards typically inspire travellers as they seek the most rewarding experiences around the world.
Boasting lush tropical vegetation, powder-white beaches, a beautiful, exotic setting and clear turquoise waters, the Seychelles is also well-known for its perfectly preserved natural sites such as the Vallée de Mai, one of the 115-island archipelago’s two UNESCO World Heritage sites dedicated to humanity, its unique flora and fauna and its marine parks, all of which captivated Travel & Leisure’s readers.
Commenting on the award, Mrs Bernadette Willemin, Director General for Marketing of Tourism Seychelles mentioned that receiving such a significant recognition is an honour for the destination.
“Being named the 2021 World’s Best Island in Africa and the Middle East once again, is a delight for our small destination. It is reassuring for the industry at large to know that our visitors do not only recognise the natural beauty of our islands but also the entire experience that makes us unique and definitely ‘Another World’.”
The exotic destination’s nomination results from the annual survey conducted by Travel + Leisure, which allows readers of the New York-based travel magazine to rate their travel experiences around the globe.
Readers weigh in on top hotels, islands, cities, airlines, cruise lines, spas, and more, rating islands on the following characteristics: natural attractions and beaches, activities and sights, restaurants and food, people and friendliness, and overall value. Seychelles tied at Nr 24 with Sri Lanka in the magazine’s top islands in the world awards.
This year's World's Best Awards survey was open for voting January 11 through May 10, 2021, as destinations around the world were lifting COVID-19 restrictions.
