The car-free Koster Islands are Sweden’s most westerly inhabited islands and are the place to go for unspoilt beaches, rugged scenery and the magical ‘Koster light’. Kosterhavet (the Koster sea) is Sweden’s only marine national park, which means there is an abundance of wildlife, around 12,000 species, in and on the water.
