Varför Segla I Grekland? Allt fler upptäcker hur underbart det är att segla, i stället för att spendera en vecka på samma hotell och samma strand, så kan man uppleva nya platser varje dag på ett mycket behagligt resesätt. Många förknippar Grekland med Kreta, Mykonos eller Santorini, men det finns så mycket mer att se. Grekland har den tolfte längs

ta kustlinjen i världen på 13 676 km, med ett stort antal öar (cirka 1400, varav 227 är bebodda). Öar som Egina, Poros, Hydra och Spetses är underbart genuina. Det Grekiska fastlandet som är stort till ytan men tyvärr ett område som det sällan talas om; Nafplion på Peloponnesoshalvön och Monemvasia längre söderut är fantastiska platser som är väl värda ett besök. För oss nordbor är det kanske solen och det turkosa varma vattnet som vi längtar efter, för att kunna ladda batterierna efter en lång vinter. Grekland erbjuder mer eller mindre något för alla; mysiga tavernor, nattliv, gästfria greker och en intressant historia. Ytterligare ett plus är att priserna på restaurangerna är betydligt billigare än i Sverige och att kostnaderna i många hamnar är låga eller obefintliga, gör inte saken sämre.

We chartered Twin Pride, captained by Mattias Berglund, who not only captains the boat, but owns it as well. His passion for what he does shows. This is not a job for him, it is his pride and joy and it showed. He listened to what we wanted to do and see and created a perfect itinerary for our group. The boat was spotless and was kept clean throughout our visit somehow! His attention to detail was impeccable. He is obviously a seasoned captain who could handle anything that he faced. We felt extremely safe in his care. He was super knowledgeable about the sites and intuitively knew when we wanted to talk and when we wanted time alone. Chef Vasilis is a dream. Somehow the most amazing food would appear out of nowhere…He quickly picked up on what and when we wanted food and drinks and always did so with a huge smile on his face. We had such an amazing variety of food/drinks and it was all spectacular. I can not express how happy we were with our dining experiences. The yacht itself was perfection. The staterooms were spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Plenty of space in the bathrooms and lots and lots of seating area for every situation. The outdoor dining was spacious and comfortable, there was an inside table for games and visiting and our favorite spot was the outside seating including padded netting and seats. Pure perfection. Lots of water options including a paddle board, kayak and life vests so we could float in the gorgeous water. One of my favorite things is how well our crew worked together. It was obvious that they have a great deal of mutual respect for each other and I was impressed how well they worked as a team, which made us feel so comfortable. This was absolutely a 5 star experience. We felt like it was a great value and an incredible experience. Our only complaint was that we had to leave…
