NEW FISHING RULES 2021 for Färnebofjärden.

Net and longline fishing is prohibited during the period from 1/1 to 31/8 to protect the pikeperch stock during and after the spawning season. During the hot period, fishing with these gears is made more difficult as catches are quickly destroyed. During this period, there are many fishing tourists and net and longline fishing has been experienced as both disruptive and disrupted by hand gear fishing.

Withdraw a maximum of 2 pikeperch (max 80 cm) per fishing license per day
Perch max 35 cm
Withdraw a maximum of 2 pike (max 80 cm) per fishing license per day

Aspen and whitefish are protected in Färnebofjärden. Crayfishing is prohibited.

Please note the ban on entering bird protection areas and other regulations in Färnebofjärden National Park
NOTE Inspection fee charged for rule violations SEK 500
