A beautiful day and happy crazy dogs are on the go.

Only 4 weeks ago we stand on the sled and the dogs run out on the river with snow and ice under their paws. Now we have summer, and Beast runs happily into the river and enjoys a cold bath.

The white winter turned into green summer in a blink of an eye.

More trail preparation.

It's not so very good if you come to this with a sleddog team.

Our sleddog tour starts directly out on the ice from our home, and go up the river a couple of km before the tour turns off into the woods. Part of the preparation for being able to start the sleddog tours is therefore to check the ice.

Tommy chops holes in the ice and with great concentration Blenda checks that it is thick enough to be safe. She gives the tail up, so now we are one step closer to dust off the sled.
