End of Svalbard season 2019
Our vessels are on their way home over Barents Sea.
A big thanks to all our partners, suppliers and friends for making another great season in Svalbard possible.
We wish you a nice winter.

On our last expedition of the season photo host captured these two cubs resting under their mothers belly. The tour was very successful with great light and some amazing encounters in the ice. We became the only ship this year to squeeze through the ice on the northern side and traveled to both the northern, eastern and southern most point of the archipelago.

Finally, after a very tough week of preperations, MS Malmö was sailing North bound Sunday morning at 9 am. Soon passing Stavanger. Thanks to all crew for the hard work, you are the best.

WildPhoto Travel founding photographer Ole Jørgen Liodden has spent the last 4,5 years digging deep into the topic of Polar bear management, and mis-management. His investigations have now cumulated into the book Polar bears & Humans. We believe his efforts will send waves through the political and administrative sections of Polar bear range states. Hopefully we will see a change and the end of a senseless, but legal, killing of 1000 Polar bears annually.
