There’s many places to eat in Koster and they are all good!.
Bud…… few are own by the same person’s until now so find the traditional place is essential 🙂.
A place where you sit and feel in Koster and I mean in a boat house in koster or in a traditional koster house surrounded by Koster Folks (people’s), so those are few and for me only two are the best as according to my friend and maestro Owe a good place have to always be close to the water, for many reasons…. The view but here in Scandinavia land of Vikings the boats, in little islands like this lots of people come for dinner by boat 🚤 lovely … viking lands ., islands, oceans, boats. So water is always essential and important.
For me the most recommended place in Sydkoster is Sundet Skaldjurscafé at långegärde port.
And ar North Koster is Strandkanten 🇸🇪♥️

June in Sweden almost 23:00, back from Koster island after having a fantastic day, one of the longest days I had, Swedish summer and the long days it just feels you up with energy, you have such a long days, so you can do many activities and still having energy and Sunshine.
You can understand and learn a lot about cultures working as a guide meeting people from all over the world, but living here, going through all the seasons and feelings each season physically and Mentally it makes you understand much more also embracing winter in Scandinavia it makes you stronger, patience and quiet wich are also good to learn and manage.
After such a hard winter having green, sun, sounds of birds it just extremely intense everything happens really quick and powerful, suddenly from one week to the other green appears everywhere and flower, pollinators wake up and began to do there job, fruits come and at the same time chick’s born, little ducks all over, jumping as they Swimming, catching insects and mosquitos close to the water. Ojojojjjjjj. I wish I can share this with you some day 🙂🌿 Swedish west coast 🙂🫶🏽 -travel

I been out in Koster Archipelago many times since I paddle boarding, as many as almost every days some summers, I don’t have a boat but find the way to reach the same places with my own strength in a little bit more time, now I realise this is the best way, no engine, close to the water and a complete and most of the time a peaceful training, pure air fresh and nice, sun or rain it feel nice in summertime, and then boom 💥 PARADISE, you arrive to those island and feel the rock on your barefoot, walk in, climb up and find that spot, Spot to become in complete harmony and naturally disappear in the landscape.

Some places have the ability to reach all the way into my heart it can be so deep there I feel home and welcome, each single time I go, I walk and feel home, i can listen before I see, and is always hard to walk away from this places, they are home for me.
So after many year travelling, experiencing, learning, enjoying and embracing different realities, challenges and ecosystems. Some of them i call them Home. Särö is and always be home for me and I always will be back.
I know and Love Peru 🇵🇪 but after many years I learn and love Scandinavia also 🇸🇪 🇳🇴.

Is 6:00 am and the sun ☀️ is all ready shining in the Yanayacu River, she is the chef 👩‍🍳 from the lodge we are staying at, a local lady arriving in her canoe, a very old canoe she stay until tonight after dinner between 20:00 to 21:00 she go back home in the same canoe in the darkness between Caimans and above piranhas. For many just unbelievable for her every day live.🙏🏽♥️
