Ladugårdsgärdet - one of many locations available for takeoff and landing around Stockholm. The size of our town is perfectly suited for balooning - with normal wind speeds a flight over the whole city takes about one hour and gives our passengers an opportunity to see it from another angle - drifting by at a slow pace.

Final internal inspektion of the balloon. Inflation. And then we leave ground with children waving and shouting ”Heeejdå”/”Byyyye bye”…its is such a nice and special thing to do.

Tonights launch from Kärrtorp - leaving it up to the ground crew - consisting of Spigge (and Bella the young balloon dog who is gradually getting used to the sight of her master K-G vanishing into the sky…) to follow us with the bus and to bring us all safely back after the flight.

Hot air balloons are, for many of us, something we associate with warm summer evenings as part of the Stockholm skyline. We are happy to have been a part of this sceneryfor more than 30 years.

Our passengers are often amazed about how small things look down there, seen from our basket - but we have to admit that we look quite small ourselves when seen from the ground...at least when flying high😊🎈

Flying low in our smallest balloon the other day - having the honour of hosting a happy couple that got engaged...inside the balloon!❤️🎈
The winds were very special this evening - allowing our pilot to fly the balloon all the way back to the starting position, by utillizing the wind at lower level.
