March 4th, the dawn of a new era for what is one of the World’s Best Airlines amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. As the aviation industry slowly recovers from the pandemic that has affected it the most, the famous blue and green tails of Singapore waves goodbye as the SilverKris takes over from here on, marking the next chapter of the national carrier with the merger of its subsidiary fully into its own. With clear skies ahead and the traditional white, blue, gold of the SilverKris painted the skies as the super FLUFs make a return in the famous colours after years of absence. Climbing out of the World’s Best Airport, the “newly” minted Boeing 737NG shows off her new corporate colours of Singapore Airlines, marking the return of narrowbody operations as we wave goodbye to regional carrier SilkAir. Off this super FLUF goes, as she head off for her first revenue flight to the Land of Smiles under the Singapore Airlines flight code!
