Laisee or Hong Bao etiquette can be a little tricky, and not something you want to get wrong! The red envelope should be filled with a perfectly new banknote and passed from those who are older to those who are younger, and from employer to employee. The flow of money should be from those who have more to those who have less. Maybe best never to get married as this is when you switch from receiving to giving 😉

Counting down to the Chinese New Year of the Tiger 🐅 Like western New Year, it's a time to reflect and be thankful for all that's been achieved over the last twelve months and to wish for a prosperous New Year. Decorating your home with good luck banners as well as items relating to the current zodiac animal, and having smaller decorations in red and gold are a small part of many traditional decorations. We will be looking at more traditions in the days to come.
