Singapore is the 5th safest place in the world but low crime doesn't mean no crime.

I've always reminded my guests to keep their valuables close in bazaars, markets, festivals, and watch their drinks at bars and nightspots, and practice caution when out late at night (especially the young travellers).

Also, if you are on cycling tours (which are alot of fun), please pay attention, listen to your guide, be safe and stay on track as you might find yourself on sections of kerbs or roads.

Singaporean drivers pay an awful lot of money for a certificate of entitlement to drive their cars and they will not hesitate to let you know of their displeasure if you. cut in front of them (dangerous). 🤪

My friend rightly pointed out, "Look, our Minister, Mr Ong Ye Kung is advocating for our profession."

When we talk to our clients, we'd always ask what is important to you? What is it that you want to be able to do in the immediate future and long term.

Clients don't only tell us they want to deadlift X kg, clients tell us they want to travel and be able to lift their lugagge off the conveyor belt, carry groceries independently, they want to carry their children/grand children safely so that is how an OT and client set goals together.

The functional goal is to carry travel bags, groceries, children etc safely, the process involved is to work on proper body mechanics that will not aggravate post op injury/ injury conservatively managed, we work on building balance, strength, endurance in the movements and motions you need to do..

Singapore has its aging population as "the main impetus" for its accessibility, said the report.

The city-state's accessibility code for buildings include mandates like ensuring the safety and accessibility of escalators and elevators, and the provision of accessible toilets at entrance levels of buildings, it added.

To access public transport and walkways, over 95% of pedestrian walkways, taxi stands and bus shelters in Singapore are accessible to wheelchair users, seniors or other individuals with disabilities.

I love it that Jewel Changi offers something for everyone - from the views of the world's tallest indoor waterfall for visiting tourists, bouncing nets and mazes for our families with kids, romantic strolls amidst themed lightshows for dating couples and being surrounded by the scents and sights of all that greenery and flora for our seniors.

Most attractions are accessible, with nicely spaced out f&b and public spaces, clean accessible toilets, wheelchair/pushchair rentals made available at the information counter.

Set at Cloud Forest with its iconic vision of waterfalls, spiraling walkways and a unique architectural glass greenhouse, Avatar: The Experience invites guests to connect with the alien world of Pandora, its bioluminescent environments, mystical creatures, flora, and the captivating culture of its indigenous people, the Na’vi.

Not all the avatar experiences are wheelchair or stroller friendly. check with staff, sometimes in the absence of the usual tourist crowds, they are more available to advise on the best routes to take. Such as allowing a wheelchair user to enter the fire cave via ramp at exit.
