Amazing time in Phuket this past week where Chris ran his first 60km. He finished in 5:55 and was awarded 12th place out of top 20 men!!! After the race... It was recovery time and then relaxation! We really enjoyed Thailand, the Thai massages 💆, riding a Tuk Tuk, the atmosphere and food was yummy!

We have enjoyed the beauty of Singapore since our last travels to Bali in 2023. Learned how "Forest Bathing" which we have a lot here, is so beneficial to our health, no wonder people thrive here! Everywhere we walk we see nature, we pretty much live in a rain forest 🌿🍃. Our first Visitors in 2024 from the US was our eldest son and his gf. It was fun watching them figure the life here, MRT, walking a lot and eating different food, but they adjusted! It's pretty simple. We have some marathons and travels coming up and can't wait to share them with you!!!

UNESCO World Heritage site, such a beautiful sight. Would take 7 days to visit the entire Bay on boat, which consists of 2,000 islands and around 20 caves, could be more. We learned a lot about Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Cat Ba (the largest island) 🇻🇳🌿🪷This walk is outside of Sung Sot Surprise Cave, one of the most popular and visited caves in Halong.

Amazing experience taking a tour on Halong Bay... We had a wonderful tour guide that explained so much of the history. Over 2,000 islands and we visited the largest Cat Ba Island. Went bike riding, dined on the boat, kayaking, got our feet nibbled on by fish (yikes). So much fun!

Proud of Chris' completion of Trans Jeju 50KM. What an amazing feat and the biggest challenge so far ! This is his 9th marathon in the books and now his goal is to complete a 100KM in the future! He's got lots of more training to come, but it's worth it! He finished 17th in his age group. There were 1,200 competing in the 50KM with 1,120 finishers. He finished in the top 25%. Congratulations 👏🎉🏅🇰🇷🏃💯🌿🌊🙏

This is our first adventure out of Asia ... heading to Sydney, Australia for the Sydney Marathon !!! Let's root Chris on, it's been 14 years since his last marathon and wish him the best! He has been training very hard and we know this will be an experience of a lifetime! 🏃🏃🏃🥇

We have truly enjoyed living in Singapore for the last 6 months together and have explored a lot, but there is so much more to see! We have been following Brian&Carrie on YouTube and they recently spent two days here! We just love how they share the highlights, they are always on a budget and figure out how you can really save a lot of money to retire early and still enjoy life to the fullest!!! We have learned a lot and will be retiring soon... Almost there! 🤗Haha (although my retirement started when the three kids went off to college) and well, Chris has not much longer to go :)

My sister suggested I check out some YouTube videos on the places we will visit for upcoming marathon travels, plus get some ideas for retirement and while searching for Portugal (1 or many places we are thinking to retire), I fell upon Brian and Carrie on YouTube! 🙏I normally won't waste my time on here, but I have been following 🗺️ They are fun to watch and also reminds me a lot of Chris and I ~ soon to be retired and budgeters 💸 This couple travels the world and shares the costs, budgeting, pros and cons of each place while also sharing beautiful scenery to help visualize... We are loving it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Chris is running Halong Bay, Vietnam Marathon in Nov, and so this video caught my eye. 🇻🇳 Although we may not be able to do this boat excursion this time, I am hoping we can do it next time! Hotel 🏨Booked 🗓️

It's been 1 yr since we celebrated our 27th Anniversary in South America. That trip was perfectly tailored to everything we wanted to do! I wanted to share the company Vaya Adventures !

As many of you know I have taught Art for over 10+ years. It's been almost 3 months since I have moved out of the country to a new place to learn more about different cultures and have found that there are better areas to use my skills. 🙏

I learned about Happy Hearts Indonesia ❤️ and I decided to reach out to them about starting an Art Program for the children. I have always wanted to use what I have learned, to teach and volunteer with underprivileged schools to give the gift of 🎨 Art! What a wonderful way to instill not only education, but creativity in our children! I am privileged to have this opportunity, this time in my life 🙏
