晚餐 --> 蔡澜点心 - 从没在朋友圈看过，还是第一次在广州接触到。我的挚爱，酥皮山楂叉烧包，赛螃蟹凤眼饺和虾皇粉丝煲。
Dinner --> Chua Lam Dim Sum - I had never seen it on any of my friend’s social media feed before and first time seeing and eating it in Guangzhou. Some of my favourites includes the Crispy Hawthorn Char Siew Bun, the Crab-like Paste Dumplings, and the Shrimp Vermicelli Pot.

第五天
石室圣心大教堂 Sacred Heart Cathedral (Shishi Shengxin Cathedral)

一德路 - 海味干粮一条街，如果想入货海味干粮，这肯定是您的选择。
YiDe Road, famous Dried Seafood Street in GuangZhou.

一德东路旧部前 – 圣心大教堂左侧的一条街道，专卖春联，红包饰品等新年装饰。过年前去，肯定双方都盆满钵满。
If you're looking to buy dried seafood, this is definitely the place to go.

午餐 --> 银灯食府 – 也从来没在朋友圈看过，是从一名广州YouTuber的的视频看到去试试。环境不错但需要等位就算是下午茶时间。
Lunch --> Yin Deng Restaurant – Another restaurant that I had never seen it on any of my friends’ social media feed before; I discovered it from a video by a Guangzhou YouTuber and decided to give it a try. The environment is great, but be prepared to wait for a table, even during afternoon tea time.

万菱玩具精品城 – 位于一德路与解放南路交界上，玩具与摆设精品的批发市场城，我有看到Labubu哦。比较高层也有大件点的家居摆设。
Onelink International Plaza - Located at the intersection of Yide Road and Jiefang South Road, this is a wholesale market for toys and decorative items. I spotted Labubu there too! On the upper floors, there are also larger home decor items and furnishings.

泰康饰品城 – 位于111号泰康路，女生们的最爱的商城。买得多，可以有批发价不然也挺便宜的。
Taikang Cheng Square (Jewellery/Accessories Mall) – Located at No. 111 Tai Kang Road, this is a favourite shopping mall for women. If you buy in bulk, you can get wholesale prices, but even for smaller purchases, it's still quite a good deal.

逛街日 A day of Mall Hopping

午餐 --> 蟹三宝 - 主打菜品蟹黄捞饭/面，以多只螃蟹做成一碗金贵的蟹黄蟹肉蟹膏，浇在饭或面上后加上点醋，搅拌均匀绝顶美味。
Lunch --> Xie San Bao - The signature dishes are crab roe rice/noodles, made with multiple crabs to create a luxurious bowl of crab roe, crab meat, and crab paste, being poured over rice or noodles, topped with a bit of vinegar and mixed thoroughly for an incredibly delicious taste. Located in Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Tianhe district.

晚餐 -->客语客家菜 – 朋友介绍的，古法手撕盐焗鸡好吃，味道咸中带香。点了个很不起眼的客家腌面但确颠覆我的第一感官。
Dinner -->Ke Yu Hakka Cuisine - Recommended by a friend, the traditional hand-pulled salt-baked chicken is delicious, nicely salted and it’s aromatic. I also ordered a seemingly unremarkable Hakka noodle, but it completely changed my perception with its unexpected taste.

第一次体验从香港坐高铁到广州的经历。虽然心里有点慌张，但其实没有想象中那么复杂，还是很顺利的。想分享一下我的经验，特别是购票和乘车流程。

首先，你需要下载12306的APP来购票。记得先进行实名注册，但这步骤是需要须使用中国手机号，这一点要提前准备好。再来就是把所有同行的乘客也一起实名注册。这样一来在12306不仅可以购票，还可以选座。我听说其他平台购买的票座位是系统自动分配的，所以如果你特别在意座位，还是建议用12306。

当天乘车的时，建议提前1小时到达香港九龙西高铁站。记得带好护照，因为你需要凭护照过安检和登车。安检后，要先出境香港，然后再直接入境内地，这个过程大约需要30分钟左右。入境完后，你就可以在出境大厅等待登车了。高铁会在发车前15分钟到5分钟开始登车，所以不用太紧张。整个过程比我想象的顺利很多，也没那么复杂，虽然是第一次坐，还是挺顺利的，值得一试！

This was my first time taking the high-speed train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. Although I was a bit nervous at first, it actually turned out to be much simpler than I expected and went smoothly. I'd like to share my experience, especially the ticket purchasing and boarding process.
First, you need to download the 12306 app to buy tickets. Make sure to complete the real-name registration process, which requires a China phone number, so it's important to prepare that in advance. You'll also need to register all passengers traveling with you. Once this is done, 12306 not only allows you to buy tickets but also lets you choose your seats. I heard that on online travel platforms, seat assignments are done automatically by the system, so if seat selection is important to you, it's better to use 12306.

On the day of travel, I recommend arriving at Hong Kong Kowloon West High-Speed Rail Station at least 1 hour before departure. Don’t forget your passport, as you'll need it for both security checks and boarding. After passing through security, you'll exit Hong Kong and then directly enter Mainland China. This process takes about 30 minutes. Once you've cleared customs, you can wait in the departure hall for boarding. Boarding typically starts 15 to 5 minutes before the train departs, so there's no need to panic. The entire process was much smoother than I imagined, and even though it was my first time, it was really easy and definitely worth trying!

上一次我来到香港已经是2018年了，时隔六年，再次踏上这片熟悉的土地，这次我依然选择住在荃湾西，理由很简单，地理位置极为便利，地铁站和巴士总站都在附近。更让人喜欢的是，周围的商场大多通过行人桥相连，购物、吃饭或是日常生活都可以轻松解决。

荃湾曾是一个小渔村，拥有丰富的历史。特别是在1980年代地铁（MTR）开通后，荃湾成为新界发展最早的地区之一。如今，荃湾已经从一个传统的渔港发展成一个充满现代气息的繁华区，既能感受到现代都市的快节奏，也能在街头巷尾找到昔日的文化遗迹。

The last time I visited Hong Kong was in 2018, and now, six years later, I’m back. This time, I’ve chosen to stay in Tsuen Wan West again, and for good reason. The location is incredibly convenient, with the MTR station and bus terminal nearby. What’s even better is that many of the surrounding malls are connected by pedestrian bridges, making it easy to shop, eat, or run errands.

Tsuen Wan, once a small fishing village, has evolved into a bustling district with a rich history. It was one of the first areas in the New Territories to develop, especially after the construction of the MTR in the 1980s. Today, it's a blend of modern conveniences and cultural heritage, where you can still find traces of its past alongside the fast-paced city life.

Rediscover the Discovery, the Siam Discovery.

I still remember I first travel to Bangkok could be in the early Millenium. Back then, first started work not long, so need to be very careful in spending, therefore whenever going to Siam Square area for shopping, Siam Discovery will be the mall that I always needed to walk through.

Now that, travelling with kids and better off, travelling by Cab or Tuk Tuk become the choice of transport and Siam Discovery Mall was not visited thereafter. However, by chance, this trip brings us back again. The Mall after a complete facelift in 2016 turns it to be “The Exploratorium”- The biggest arena of Lifestyle Experiment.

But more importantly what I want to share today is the Legend Heroes Sports, a sports games arena where suits not just the kids but also the adults. There are Batting Challenge, the Pitching Game, Archery, Angry Birds (equivalent), Soccer, Basketball, Skiing, Clay/Hunting Shooting, etc, a total of 13 games to choose from, and all the gaming machines are shipped directly from Korea.

Good place for bonding with your kids.

重新探索，Siam Discovery

我仍然记得我第一次去曼谷可能是在千禧年初。那时候刚开始工作不久，所以需要非常谨慎地花钱，因此每当我们去暹罗商圈购物时，Siam Discovery就是我总是需要穿过的购物中心。

现在，带着孩子出游并且经济情况更好了，所以会选择乘坐出租车或嘟嘟车，而Siam Discovery购物中心已经很久没去逛了。然而，这次旅行却让我们机缘巧合下再次回到了这里。 2016年，经过全面翻新后，购物中心变成了购物 “探索馆” - 最大的生活方式实验场所。

但更重要的是我今天想分享的是Legend Heroes Sports，这是一个不仅适合孩子们也适合成年人的体育游戏场所。有击棒球挑战、投棒球游戏、射击、愤怒鸟（相当于）、足球、篮球、滑雪、泥盘/狩猎射击等等，总共有13个游戏可供选择而且所有游戏机都是直接从韩国运来的。

这不愧是与孩子们建立关系的好地方。

我回来又啦！

这一年半的时间到底有没很大的转变呢?我觉得是有的! 除了当地人似乎恢复了日常，外国人潮比起之前有着很显著的增加。这肯定是免签效应，这次见到了更加多来自中国，台湾，香港，更加少不了的印度的游客。

住回同样的酒店，同样的视角但摩天大楼好像多了好几栋，更不用说网紅打卡点也多了。这趟我也跟上潮流不过是看和学习网红如何操作。

先提免责声明，没有任何商业利益，纯粹为了分享。

第一站，曾经荣获多次咖啡调理师奖项的Factory Coffee。咖啡香醇浓厚，羊角/牛角包或可颂也松软可口。记得把要吃的喝的都一并下单，要不然就得从新加入队列，你就真会欲哭无淚。

第二和第三站是同一个打卡点有关-水门寺大佛。在网上也有以柏南寺或北榄寺称之。水门寺历史悠久，，建于1610年。照片中的佛塔是在2012年增建而大佛是在2017年开始增建原定2020年完工但因为冠病延迟至2021年。

或许是我准备不足而造成了一个景点两个站,。首先到达了坤昌寺码头为了是乘搭长尾船游览当地人使用的运河，顺便能在大佛前留影。后来在游船时看到了原本想去的曼谷造船厂咖啡厅觉得可以有更好的拍摄角度，就决定打个车过去了。

Uruea Cafe, 曼谷造船厂咖啡厅，入门费20泰铢，可用来抵消咖啡厅费用。当初没选择去是因为网上我资料显示咖啡厅平平无奇但在船上看到后又去了趟可总结，不但拍摄角度好，地点能享受悠哉闲哉下午茶的氛围还真是不错的!

I'm back again!

Has there been any significant change over the past 1.5 years? I think there has been! Besides the locals seeming to have returned to their daily routines, there has been a noticeable increase in foreign tourists compared to before. This is definitely the effect of visa-free policies. I saw many more tourists from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and of course, India.

Staying at the same hotel with the same view, it seems there are several more skyscrapers now, not to mention more popular attractions where the influencers would visit. I also followed the trend this time, to see and learn how influencers operate.

First, a disclaimer: I have no commercial interests, purely sharing for the sake of sharing.

First stop, Factory Coffee, which has won multiple barista awards. The coffee is rich and aromatic, and the croissants are soft and delicious. Remember to order everything you want at once, otherwise, you’ll have to rejoin the queue, and you will definitely feel the pain of queueing all over again.

The second and third stops are related to the same check-in point: the Big Buddha at Wat Paknam. Wat Paknam has a long history and was built in 1610. In the image, the stupa was added in 2012, and the Big Buddha began construction in 2017, originally planned to be completed in 2020 but delayed to 2021 due to COVID-19.

Perhaps due to my inadequate preparation, I ended up with two stops for one attraction. First, I arrived at Wat Khun Chan Pier to take a long-tail boat tour along the local canals and take photos in front of the Big Buddha. However, during the boat tour, I saw the Uruea Cafe, which seemed to offer a better shooting angle, so I decided to take a cab over after the boat ride.

Uruea Cafe has an entrance fee of 20 baht, which can be used to offset the cafe's expenses. Initially, I didn't choose to go because online information suggested the cafe to be mediocre, but after seeing it from the boat, I decided to visit. In conclusion, not only does it offer great shooting angles, but it’s also a great place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea!

瑞士-伯恩
几乎所有的国航都飞苏黎世，很多人都误会苏黎世是瑞士的首都。其实瑞士首都是伯恩。

伯恩-Bern, 是以德文 ‘熊- Bär' 而命名。那是因为，建城公爵札林根在1191年在阿勒河捕抓到的第一只动物。因此便以熊命名这城市，就连州旗也以熊设计。

这座在瑞士第四大城市却只能算是小城，但中的时钟塔，不同的塑像喷泉，拱廊购物街等，代表性文化建筑使伯恩于1983年被联合国教科文组织UNESCO列入世界文化遗产。

时钟塔(Zytglogge)
曾经在13世纪是城市的防御城门和监狱，在1530年重建时设计成了钟塔供报时。钟塔上有两个钟，上层黑底金字报时钟，下层金字，红、黑底天文钟。每个整点塔定的小金人还会跟着点数敲钟。这最古老的机械钟成为了瑞士这座老城的网红打卡景点。

爱因斯坦故居
就在在钟塔不远处。爱因斯坦是德国犹太人，但是曾受聘于伯恩专利局而在瑞士伯恩居住了大概7年并发表了相对论。

Switzerland - Bern

Almost all international flights fly to Zurich, leading many to mistakenly believe that Zurich is the capital of Switzerland. In reality, the capital of Switzerland is Bern.

Bern, in German as "Bär" (Bear), is because in 1191, the founding Duke Zähringen captured the first animal near the Aare River, which happened to be a bear. Consequently, the city was named after the bear, and even the state flag is designed with a bear.

Bern is the fourth-largest city in Switzerland butstull relatively a small city. However, places like, Zytglogge clock tower, various statues fountains, arched shopping streets, and other cultural buildings earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1983.

Clock Tower (Zytglogge) Once a city gate and prison in the 13th century, it was redesigned as a clock tower in 1530. The tower has two clocks: the upper one is a black background with golden letters for timekeeping, and the lower one is a golden, red, and black astronomical clock. At each hour, a small golden figure on the tower strikes the bell according to the hours. This oldest mechanical clock has become a famous landmark in Bern.

Einstein's Old Residence
It is located not far from the clock tower. Einstein, a German Jewish, was employed by the Bern Patent Office and lived in Bern, Switzerland, for approximately seven years, during which he published the theory of relativity.

策马特-马特宏峰-戈尔内格拉特山

马特宏峰是瑞士引以为傲的标志, 海拔4478米高。特殊的三角锥造型，一柱擎天，陡峭险峻，难以攀登。马特宏峰可以说是世界上最美丽、最动人心魄的山峰。1865年，第一次攀峰7人队伍却只有三人复返。但是这次的攀登却改变了这山峰攀登未来。虽然现在可以攀峰但是依然是一项高难度的挑战，只有具备完善装备的专业登山者，在经验丰富的向导陪伴下，才有可能完成。

篇外小趣事：有吃Toblerone巧克力的人，应该会觉得马特宏峰很熟悉。对照一下吧。😁

要看这座美丽的山峰除了可以在策马特小镇仰望，当然也可以登上海拔3089米的戈尔内格拉特山顶对望欣赏最美的马特宏峰。在策马特小镇就能乘搭全年运行的齿轮火车登上戈尔内格拉待山。

因为马特宏峰，戈尔内格拉特山和周边山脉常年有雪，因而也成为夏天的滑雪胜地也是很多国家队的夏天滑雪训练场地。因此山脚下的策马特小镇跟随着旅游业发展成为了全世界最出名的度假胜地。

Zermatt-Matterhorn-Gornergrat

The Matterhorn is a famous mountain of Switzerland, standing at an elevation of 4,478 meters. With its distinctive triangular pyramid shape top, rises steeply and is challenging to climb. The Matterhorn can be considered the most beautiful and awe-inspiring mountain in the world. In 1865, the first ascent by a team of seven climbers resulted in only three returning. However, this climb changed the future of mountain climbing of the Mattarhorn. Though it's now possible to ascend, it remains a highly challenging endeavor, achievable only by professional climbers with proper equipment and experienced guides.

Fun fact: People who eat Toblerone chocolate might find the Matterhorn very familiar. Take a look and compare. 😁

To admire this beautiful peak, you can look up from the town of Zermatt, or you can ascend to the summit of the 3,089-meter Gornergrat for the best view of the Matterhorn. In Zermatt, you can take a year-round cogwheel train to reach Gornergrat peak.

Due to the perpetual snow on the Matterhorn, Gornergrat Mountain, and the surrounding peaks, the area has become a skiing destination in the summer and a training ground for many national teams. Consequently, the town of Zermatt at the foot of the mountains has developed into one of the world's most famous vacation resorts, thanks to the booming tourism industry.

卢塞恩-英格堡-铁力士山

铁力士山位于英格堡镇。小镇在1798年加入瑞士之前是由修道院发展並统治的独立国。现在铁力士山是瑞士中部海拔最高的游览胜地，也是最大的滑雪和单板滑雪运动乐园。

抵达了英格堡车站转搭免费接驳巴士到达缆车站却因为峰顶天气不明朗而只能在山脚等待。等了两小时才终于可以乘搭缆车再转乘旋转缆车到达铁力士山的冰河公园。在海拔3020米的山峰，可以将中央阿尔卑斯的美景尽收眼底。但天还是不作美，云雾满空，所以这趟的铁力士山之游还是山脚下的景色比较迷人。😁

Lucerne-Engelberg-Mount Titlis

Mount Titlis is located in the town of Engelberg. The town was an independent state developed and ruled by a monastery before joining Switzerland in 1798. Now, Mount Titlis is the highest tourist destination in central Switzerland, as well as one of the largest playground for skiing and snowboarding.

Upon reaching Engelberg station, we took a free shuttle bus to the cable car station. However, due to unclear weather at the summit, we have waited at the foot of the mountain for almost two-hour before we can ascend via the cable car and transfer to the Titlis Rotair (revolving cable car) to reach the Titlis Glacier Park at an altitude of 3020 meters where the beauty of the Central Alps can be seen from the mountain peak. However, the weather doesn't a good view for this trip instead the real charm of the Mount Titlis seems to lie in the scenery at the foot of the mountain. 😁

欧洲旅的第二站

进入了瑞士卢塞恩已经是下午4点多钟。登记入住我们的住宿后，又是逛圣诞夜市的时候。去夜市前，沿着罗伊斯河看看周边的景色。

罗伊斯河时瑞士的主要河流之一，长158公里，水源于阿尔卑斯山脉。通过衔接两岸的卡佩尔桥，俗称教堂桥，到了对岸老城区闲逛。

卡佩尔桥是一座木结构廊桥，长204米，跨越罗伊斯河两岸，接近卢塞恩湖的出口处。这条廊桥是欧洲现存最古老的木桥，是卢塞恩的地标，也是瑞士的一大旅游景点。

因为冬天夜长日短，4点多钟就已经暗下来。六点多的圣诞夜市已经是人山人海，每个人手中都捧着一杯Gluehwein举杯畅谈，充满着圣诞氛围。

Gluehwein，源自于德国，Glueh在德语中是“燃烧”的意思，顾名思义，也就是说Gluehwein在喝完之后会让人有燃烧的感觉，从头到脚热起来。现在的它已成为西方人在冬季尤其是圣诞节前后必喝的热饮之一。

Gluehwein以红酒为基底，再加上这个季节的应景香料调味，比如：肉桂、香草、苜蓿、茴香、柑橘等，加热饮用。

The second stop of our Europe Trip.

We arrived around 4 pm at Lucerne, Switzerland, checked into our accommodation, and then went out to explore the Christmas market nearby. Before heading there, we enjoyed the scenic views along the Reuss River.

The Reuss River, one of Switzerland's main rivers, spans 158 km with the source originating from the Alps. Crossing the river using the Chapel Bridge, leading us to the old town at the opposite bank. This wooden bridge, 204 meters long, is Europe's oldest surviving wooden bridge, a landmark in Lucerne and a major Swiss tourist attraction.

As winter night fell by 4 pm. The Christmas market at around 6 pm was bustling with people, each holding a cup of Gluehwein, a hot drink originating from Germany. Glueh in German means "burn," fittingly describing the warming sensation it brings from head to toe. It has become a must-have winter beverage, especially around Christmas, combining red wine with seasonal spices like cinnamon, vanilla, clover, fennel, and citrus, served warm.
