D'STAR Design Award

With a heavy heart, the D'STAR Committee Team have decided to call off D’STAR Design Award 2019 due to the poor response this year & we apologise for its cancellation. Nonetheless, we will work closely with DesignSingapore and SFIC for future collaborations to promote good designs in Singapore.

Disclaimer: Star International will not be using or owning the IP for any submitted entries; all IP rights will reside with the participants.

▪ Maximum of 3 artworks, limited to 2 MB each

D’STAR Design Award 2019 DETAILS ARE OUT!!

For those who don't know, the D’STAR Design Award 2019 is into its fourth run this year. It started off targeting budding student designers in its first two runs in 2013 and 2015. But in 2017, Star International was encouraged to expand the scope for D’STAR to include anyone who has a passion for furniture designing. Likewise this year, these designers or enthusiasts are tasked to explore living possibilities.

We are happy to announce that our D'STAR Design Award 2017 has ended! A BIG thank you to our 4 Judges, 6 Finalists, Event Partners & everyone for dropping by our event to witness this special day despite the heavy downpour in the afternoon!

Congratulations to Yong Xin Hui (Peranakan Screen) for emerging as our Grand Winner - $3000 cash + a trip to Milan iSaloini 2018 (worth $3,000)

Wow, it already the end of September! Our design team have been working closely with the 6 finalists for the past few months to produce their desired prototypes!

1 DAY JB FACTORY EDUCATIONAL TOUR (20 MAY 2017)

So thankful for the smooth traffic from +65 🇸🇬 to +60🇲🇾
Glad to see everyone gaining new insights from this tour, having so much fun at the 🍍 plantation (impromptu decision as we are way too early) & the savoury lunch 🍗🍤 we had together!
