Gustav Eiffel was a French architect and engineer who designed many significant buildings and structures, however, he is perhaps best known for the Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower is Gustav Eiffel's best-known work and was built in 1889 for the World's Fair in Paris. The 324-meter-high steel and glass structure was the tallest building of its time and testifies not only to the amazing design, but also to the advanced engineering technologies of the time.

Eiffel is not only famous for the tower, but also participated in the design and construction of many other buildings. One of his most important projects is Budapest's Nyugati railway station, which was built by Eiffel's company based on the design of architect August W. De Serres. At this time, the building was an engineering marvel that became an epoch-maker in the history of architecture.

Eiffel held many patents that were used for the buildings he designed and built. Eiffel's patents revolutionized architecture and engineering and have inspired many designers ever since. Fantastique!

Eiffel's work also covered the design of railways, bridges and ships. In the last years of his life, Eiffel increasingly focused on artistic projects and designed many unique buildings and structures.

Parisian life simply cannot be compared to anything else. Those who visit here for the first time are not only amazed by the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or Notre-Dame, but also by the unmistakable French way of life that permeates the entire city.

People here take time to enjoy life and are never in a rush. Pleasant restaurants, cafes and bars, small galleries, and romantic gardens line the streets, where life comes alive in the warm weather. The streets, terraces, and banks of the Seine are filled with locals sipping on aromatic coffee and nibbling on croissants. A style that is admired by the world. The French dress style is extremely elegant while not at all flashy. On any occasion, they choose special attire while enjoying the unique taste of wines and food. Essentially, they are snobs, in the best sense of the word.

In France, people don't live to work, but rather, they work to live. This lifestyle and attitude are envied worldwide, as it allows them to shrug off any everyday difficulty while all in the company of good wine.

All in all, one trip to Paris is not enough, as you could never get enough of it. So visit as many times as you can, and enjoy every moment, like a true French person! La vie est belle!
