Well today it seems as though the whole fleet was foraging for crumbs. As far as water conditions, beautiful water was pushing in fast there was 81° purple water across the tip of the point where we caught just about everything we had today. With the conditions improving constantly the question is is where did they go? Colin Moran caught a citation wahoo right on the tip of the point.🍻🍺🍻

Mike and the boys had a great time today. It was a slow start again but once they started biting it was pretty good but boy it was a lot of lazy boils. They were there, but not very aggressive. But they were aggressive enough that my guys are going home with plenty of fish.🍻🍺🍻

Today Kevin was back with five young men that have never been to the Gulfstream before. Period. Kevin put this group together out of people that he works with. They're out there somewhere around Winston Salem, and they build John Deere excavators. These young men are all welders. And Dylan Kology also makes custom knives. I took a picture of the knife that he brought me which is unbelievably nice and sharp and took a picture with the card so that if anybody has any interest, they can check out his website, but my gosh, he makes beautiful beautiful knives of all shapes and sizes. Check it out.🍻🍺🍻

Today we had David Jacob. He hasn't been back in years, but it was great to see him today with his friends. And we thank J***y for booking the trip. Wyatt Blankenship 78 pounds Tristan Blankenship 71 pounds David Jacob 71 pounds. The outboard that you see in the picture we picked up on the way home, it was really rough and those guys were in a bad way so I slowed down and told him to get right in my way and we brought them home. I think his name was Wade. He came over to the back of the boat with his friend and thanked us so much for the ride and they also brought us an 18 pack of beer for appreciation, which was very nice and appreciated, we all have to look out for each other and we not forget it. I was on that boat with them getting my ass handed to me that way they would want to ride home too!!!!!!🍻🍺🍻

It was a beautiful day for Lance to bring himself and some friends down from Virginia Beach. We set out on the 650 this morning and had three baits in the water when we hooked to a fish and just about got dumped. We pulled everything back in the boat and we're backing all over the place trying to chase it down. Didn't really act right to me. I didn't think it was a tuna, but we all had big eye on the mind. We got a lot of line back on the reel, but we would get up to about 100 feet away from the fish. Whatever it was he would take off again. We ended up 2 miles from where we hooked it after two hours and 20 minutes he got away. We cranked the line in to see what was still in tact, but the hook broke the loop and about 18 or 20 inches of the leader was all scuffed up. I think we snagged a manta ray. Anyway, the rest of our day got underway. It was a slow start, and then we saw some fish waking on top and made our afternoon. Woohoo!!

Lots of green water today and a slow pick..but beautiful pic!!

Oh boy, what a big foggy mess it was today! There was no escaping the fog today. You could've got in the hot water and you had fog, and there was fog in the cold water. For the most part, the fish were in the cold water as well 60 to 64° water was where they wanted to be today. Rob brought the boys down from Virginia Beach and we picked out a good catch for what went on today. I was happy with it and so were they. Fishing would've been anywhere from the 770 on the two line and the 630 on the four line up and out the change to maybe the 755 on the two line and the 705 on the4 line was where we left for our last two fish!!!🍻🍺🍻

Walter and the boys were back from Virginia today. Jeff Dinges 70lb Dale Housden 72lb Joe Carrickhoff 76lb Nadeau Roland 80lb. Today's fishing was in Greenwater once again. The better temperature was 65 1/2 to 66. It started just outside the tip of the point and went up and out the change up to about the 650. It was great for everybody to catch some fish today. As always, it's a pleasure to take Walter and the boys fishing!!!!!🍻🍺🍻

It was an absolutely beautiful ride out today. Had some new guys today. It was Charlie's first trip with us and everybody went out the inlet like a shotgun pattern not knowing where to go. We got out past where we were yesterday and it was cold water so we had to slow down and listen, and then the water was found above us about 6 miles, so we ran up to the 715 line and got in the warm water and ended up with a great catch for our newcomers!!!!!! Charlie left me and said OK. We'll see you soon!!!!!! 🍻🍺🍻

Kevin and Chris brought their boys with us today. Little bit of a slow pic to say the least. Greg he had his first experience with a Mako shark that was our first bite of the day and of all things we couldn't keep it. Anyway, Greg and Chris are going to be back in a week. Hopefully it's gonna be a little more activity than there was today!!!!!

Well, let's start with happy Mother's Day everybody!!! we started on the point. It was cold green water so satellite imagery had some more water above us and we left. We went about 15 miles in the water got up to about 71° and we continued fishing north and never got our first bite until 12 o'clock. David Moxley caught our first of the day and 83 pound yellowfin then we caught a couple of small ones. Vasco Lorenzo caught a 72 pound yellow fin. We went a little while with nothing else and then Drake Ashleigh caught a 71 pound yellow fin to finish off our afternoon. So coming from the bottom of the ninth with three citations, it all worked out for six happy people and a great day on the water!!!!!🍻

Today we had Pete Holtz and it was a slow start. Lots of green water. Gulf stream change was way outside the point probably 3 1/2 miles. Had a lot of East West in it and was moving in all day long. We had caught three black fins and one yellowfin 59° green water green water. About lunchtime Elliot who runs Craig Gardner's old boat the Fin galley it's now called the Roanoke. We had 78 degree water just south point and he caught three fish on his green stick it.So I told Charlie go get it. Let's try it. Needless to say it saved our day today!!!!🍻🍺🍻

Today was somewhat of a slick calm foggy mess from the time we untied the boat this morning until we got back to the inlet and it cleaned up. 58 to 61° water very clear but green. One time we caught two out of three and the next time we got hit, we caught three out of four. The guys had a good time. It was calm, but it was a lot of paying attention to what was going on riding around with a lot of boats in the fog. But Lance sure said we'll see you when we get back!!!🍻🍺🍻
