Alright, it's officially 30 years in the Turks and Caicos – where the sun's always shining, the rum's always flowing, and my linguistic ability has seen better days.

Picture this: I rolled onto the islands three decades ago with Club Med, just a guy with a dream and what I am told was a questionable sense of humor. Fast forward to today, and I've built more connections than an electrician with a caffeine addiction and a more expansive yet similar questionable sense of humor.

Living here is like a daily treasure hunt, only instead of gold doubloons, I'm after the NEWEST best conch fritter in town. When you've been around as long as I have, your closest friends tend to be your lawyer, mechanic, vet, chiropractor and proctologist.

Sure, I sell & manage beachfront properties, but let's not pretend it's all glamour. I've weathered many hurricanes, both literal and metaphorical, and navigated businesses and deals while dodging mosquitos that could double as fighter jets. It's all in a day's work.

Local community matters, and I've always been knee-deep in local initiatives. If my life were any busier, I'd need a personal assistant just to schedule bathroom breaks, but as the PA is not in my budget I have gone with depends, as I'm also convinced my to-do list is trying to break me, like, "Hey, let's see if he can handle one more thing today!" It's hectic, but hey, at least I'm keeping the hectic well-organized.

So, here's to 30 years of salty air, sandy feet, and more adventures than a pirate with a treasure map with no X. No frills, no fluff – just life in the TCI, where the conch is fresh, the beaches are endless, and the stories are as wild as a hurricane party. Cheers to that!
