Now, it's time to go to the underwater temple (drowned church) in Sangkhlaburi, Kanchanaburi.
The underwater temple in Sangkhlaburi is Wang Wiwekaram temple. It is a temple of the Mon people that was build by Luang Phor Uttama, Karen and Mon immigrant villagers together according to Burmese architecture.
In March - May of every year which is the summer season, The Mon community that used to be under the Vajiralongkorn Dam will appear after the water in the dam receded, so we can walk to visit the ancient ruins and go inside the church.
But the church was left with only the walls, no roof so only part of the wall outside the church can be seen. However, we can see the Mon art on the church wall. It is very beautiful.
During October-January, which is the end of the rainy season early winter, It is also a popular time to travel. The water will rise so high so that the ancient ruins of the temple are covered by the water or some part may emerge from the water so many people call the “underworld city”.

Koh Si Chang, Chonburi
Best island closet to Bangkok that have beach, temple, view point and photo spots, all in one place.
Just 1h30 ride from Bangkok and 40 minutes by boat to smell the sea.
You can rent a motorbike or hop on a sky-lab (tuk-tuk) that will take you visit around the island wherever you want and go take a photo in a chic corner.
Visit Asdang Bridge, a romantic bridge which is a landmark of Koh Si Chang.
Listen to the waves and walk on the sand with your bare foot at Tham Phang Beach. Swim in the transparence sea and other activities.
See the sunset at Chong Khao Khat, walk along the cliff, feel the breeze and enjoy with the beauty of the island.
On this island, there are many places to visit. So for who is looking for an island near Bangkok, I recommended to stop by this Island “Si Chang Island”.

Falling in love in “Doi Sakad”, Nan Province
Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and live a slow life together at Doi Sakad which is located in the middle of nature, mountain and nice weather.
Along the way, you will meet the sky road, a two-lane road that cuts through the mountains. The view on both sides, which will be covered with trees at a distance of around tens of kilometers. You cannot imagine how beautiful it is and it is not as beautiful as the eyes see.
Doi Sakad, a small village on the top of a mountain in Pua district. I believe that everyone must be fascinated by the charm of Doi Sakad for sure.
