ยังอยู่ในอารมณ์เรื่องของเขา .. วันนี้ขอเล่าเรื่องด้วยภาพ “เดอะแบก” ลูกหาบ พอร์ตเตอร์ ชาวเนปาลสกุลเชอร์ปา ผู้ปิดทองหลังพระแบกสัมภาระและอยู่เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จของนักปีนเขาจากทั่วโลกผู้พิชิตยอดเขาอันนาปูรณะ ยอดเขามนาสลู ยอดเขาเอเวอร์เรสต์ และยอดเขาต่างๆในเทือกเขาหิมาลัย

เชอร์ปา (Sherpa) เป็นนามสกุลชาวเขาที่มีภูมิลำเนาอาศัยในเขตเอวอร์เรสต์ ประเทศเนปาล ชาวเขาเหล่านี้เดินขึ้นลงเส้นทางเดินป่าที่นักท่องเที่ยวและนักปีนเขาจากทั่วโลก เชอร์ปากลายเป็นคำสามัญที่ใช้เรียกลูกหาบเหล่านี้ และคำว่าเชอร์ปาก็เป็นที่ยอมรับนับถือจากคนทั่วโลก ลูกหาบเนปาลแบกสัมภาระคนละ 20 กิโลกรัม ด้วยค่าแรงเริ่มต้นวันละ 1,000 รูปี (ประมาณ 260 บาท) ลูกหาบในเมืองไทยแบกน้ำหนัก 30-50 กิโลกรัม ค่าแรงเริ่มต้น กิโลกรัมละ 30 บาท คิดเป็นค่าแรงเที่ยวละ 1,500 - 2,000 บาท

ระหว่างที่ผมกำลังชื่นชมความอลังการของอันนาปูรณะเบสแคมป์ หันมาเห็นพ่อหนุ่มลูกหาบคนนี้เดินขึ้นมาแต่ไกล แวบแรกของความคิดพลันยกมือขึ้นสองข้างโบกขึ้นลงแสดงการคารวะและขอนุญาตถ่ายภาพเก็บมาเล่าสู่กันฟัง

เดือนเมษานี้ เตรียมฟิตร่างกาย ซ้อมเดินลู่ เดินชัน ชิมลองเขาใหญ่ ภูกระดึง เช็คอุปกรณ์ แล้วไปเดินป่าเนปาลกันนะครับ … ลลิตมณฑปทราเวลพาเดิน พร้อมลูกหาบตามมาอีกเป็นพรวน พี่น้องๆแบกเป้ใบเล็กๆถ่ายภาพ ชมนกชมไม้กันไปตลอดทางได้เลยครับ

World Buddhist Destinations is an international alliance of Buddhist pilgrims groups and individuals, Buddhist Organizations, Academics and Archaeologists, Esteemed Travel Agencies and Destination Management Networks from 30 countries around the world promoting Spiritual journey experience traveling across the globe.
WBD stands for trusted and transparent financial gateway of pilgrimage traveling industry. We voice out the need of pilgrimage tourism promotion at the global stage.
