A survey with 7,000 respondents from 100 countries around the world found that Thailand is the best country for expatriates to work and spend their life.
The reasons are; low cost of living, high opportunity to earn more money, easy living environment and amiable community, convenience communication system, tourist location. Ease in finding new friend is one of the positive factors for foreigner to relocate and be a permanent resident in Thailand.
The second place after Thailand is Bahrain. The third place is China. Other countries in Asia such as Singapore, India, and Taiwan are moving to the top-ten country where foreigner wanted to relocate and work in.
An American, Neil McCarthy, 46, had disclosed that Thailand has good weather and beautiful seaside landscape, standard restaurant and country facilities. He had made the right decision to relocate to Thailand. He has been living in Thailand for full twelve years already.
During the past few years, Asia has been the strongest economic continent so that it is magnet to draw foreigner to live in the countries in this region. For only economic evaluation, Thailand ranked 4th, Indonesia ranked 6th, and Singapore ranked 9th. More than 80% of expatriates in Thailand informed that their income is increasing after moving to stay in Thailand.
Furthermore, the unity in culture also effects to foreigner’s decision to stay in Thailand. More than 60% of interviewees indicated that Thai culture is one of the motivations to choose to be residents in the territory of civilization.
