Lamai Beach, the second most popular destination is a lively, however less crowded destination than Samui's more well known Chaweng Beach.
Lamai Beach, located on the east coast of Koh Samui, offers a wide variety of beachside accommodation, dining and a bustling shopping street and night market. Recently there has been an expansion of massage and spa alternatives.
Lamai is also the home of many popular tourist attractionds, such as, Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks and the Mummified Monk.

Choeng Mon Beach is the ideal location for families and couples, with calm and shallow waters that are suitable for swimming all year round. The main beach is lined with a nice selection of bars and restaurants.
The centre of Choeng Mon is only a 5-10 minute drive from Samui International Airport, 10 minutes north of Chaweng and 5 minutes from Big Buddha.
