In this version, the crispy roasted glutinous rice is combined with a sweet and soft filling made from ripe bananas.To make Khao Muea with banana filling, the process begins similarly by preparing the glutinous rice. The rice is soaked, steamed, and then roasted until it becomes crispy. Afterward, ripe bananas are mashed or sliced and placed as a filling in the crispy rice layers. Sometimes, a bit of sugar or coconut is added to enhance the flavor.This snack offers a wonderful combination of textures, with the crunchiness of the rice contrasting beautifully with the sweetness and softness of the banana filling. Khao Muea with banana filling is often enjoyed as a special treat and showcases the creativity in Thai desserts, making it a favorite among many.
