🙏I made a promise to myself...
That I would always be more committed to my authenticity than to being liked because - there is nothing more valuable than being who you were born to be.
In order to fully claim your authentic essence, you have to heal the wounds that make you feel it isn't safe to be you...
Authenticity is the choice to surrender perfectionism and to let your true self be witnessed. Regardless of what anyone else thinks..🤔

🌹I grew as a person, a soul, when I gave up the fear of 'not being liked'. I am here for love, so if they don't like me, they won't love me, so they don't have to matter to me. If you truly want to grow, heal, and evolve - you have to give up wanting to be liked and the right people will love you💜

👥If we project a false personality in front of our authentic self that we think people are going to prefer and someone falls in love with that projection we created to be liked, we won't genuinely feel their love into our core being. And the person we are essentially tricking, will be falling in love with a fantasy💔

It's courageous to allow ourselves to be vulnerable...
Something I've learnt and realised is, that allowing myself to trust again, and love another again, doesn't make me stupidly insane. It means I'm brave.
We take that risk putting ourselves out there again and again for the love of life. For the life of love. So we can taste the myriad of flavours the human experience has to offer.

All the peace, wisdom, and joy in the universe is already within us. We don't have to gain, develop, or attain them.
We're like a child standing in a beautiful park with his eyes shut tight. We don't need to imagine trees, flowers, birds and sky... We merely need to open our eyes and realise what is already here, who we really are... as soon as we quit pretending we're small or unholy.
