What a week for the Thailand Property Market and for foreigners who have bought property in Thailand .
Not following the law is thwart with dangers and consequences and now all foreigners even those who did not set up companies with nominees are being affected at the response of the Supreme Court ruling see enclosed .
No nominees
No setting up of companies to own land or landed property
Now no guaranteed right of renewalship of a lease .
This means that your 2 promised renewals have been made void and there is no legal recourse to the lessor to honor these renewals .
Now most of us won’t be alive anyway to worry about what happens in 30/60/90 years .
Foreigners cannot own land
