🌿 Last week, we discovered a little slice of paradise at Huay Tueng Thao Reservoir! Just 10 kilometers outside Chiang Mai, this peaceful spot was the perfect escape from the city.

We spent the afternoon relaxing in one of the cozy bamboo huts built over the water, enjoying the gentle breeze and stunning views. 🛖✨ The food? Absolutely delicious! Fresh fish, spicy Som Tam, and all the Thai flavors you could dream of. Everything was served right to our hut – such a unique and laid-back experience!

✨ An unforgettable evening at Wat Sri Suphan - Chiang Mai ✨

During our recent Tuk-Tuk tour, we visited the stunning Wat Sri Suphan, also known as the Silver Temple. Located in Chiang Mai’s old silver-making district, this temple is a masterpiece of traditional Lanna craftsmanship. Its intricate silver carvings tell stories of Buddhist teachings, local traditions, and mythical creatures.

As the temple illuminated under the evening lights, the sight was truly mesmerizing. To make the moment even more special, two monks warmly joined our Swiss guest for a photo, creating a memory to cherish forever.

Wat Sri Suphan is not only a visual marvel but also a center for learning silverwork and a symbol of Chiang Mai’s cultural heritage. While the main hall is reserved for men, the beauty of the exterior is for everyone to admire.

Had the most amazing 8 days exploring Thailand with this fantastic group of Swiss friends! 🇨🇭 After a fun welcome apero and delicious dinner, our adventure began. We visited Pai, and even though it rained, there was so much beauty to discover. The fresh green grass smelled amazing in the rain, and we found cozy coffee shops to hang out in. We had a blast exploring the massive Singha Park! With over 12,800 acres, it offers an incredible variety of things to do: from strolling through vast tea plantations and orchards to visiting the petting zoo. We wandered along the many paths and soaked up the peaceful atmosphere.

It's amazing how much space and tranquility you can find here. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature.
