IMPORTANT INFORMATION: COVID-19
To all our students and clients, we at Student Travels Ukraine (STU TEAM), in following the recommendations and guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ukrainian government, have decided to suspend all travel applications and travel plans to all countries, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
This has come as a result of the increased travel restrictions and health concerns, due to the COVID-19 epidemic. As an agency, we do not want our students to be stuck in another country during travels, or unnecessarily exposed. Also, Ukraine currently has a nationwide quarantine in place, which affects educational institutions and its students, thus students are advised NOT to travel during this quarantine period. Within this period, our travel services will be suspended for students in Ukraine.
We ask our students to please bear with us. Desperate times… Desperate measures.

Please note the following about changes to our services during this period…
TOURISM:
All applications for tourist travels, including planning and logistics are suspended till 30th May 2020 (this may be extended).
CONFERENCE:
All applications for conferences in March – May 2020 are suspended (this may be extended).
All applications for conferences in June – September 2020 will still go on as usual, BUT will be “provisional” ONLY – meaning – the conference and/or your travel may be postpone to a later date or cancelled, based on the respective organization or government guidelines, and/or the status of the virus spread at that time.
CONFERENCE LIST FOR JUNE – SEPTEMBER 2020 WILL BE PUBLISHED LATER.
MEDICAL ELECTIVES/ATTACHMENT:
Applications for medical electives will still go on as usual, BUT all offers will be given as “Provisional Offers” pending the decisions of institutional administrators, based on the status of the virus spread, to either proceed or withdraw the offer for safety.
All new applications will be for electives starting in June 2020 (this may be extended).
ABOUT REFUNDS:
- Agency fees paid for students yet to submit their application will either be refunded, or be given as a STU voucher, which you can use for a later application.
- Conference fees paid for conferences in March – May, will be refunded based on the policy of the respective conference organizers, or substituted for a registration in another conference at a later date.
- Flight and Accommodation bookings for March – May will be refunded, based on respective airline/accommodation refund policy. (Booking for Medical Electives will not be affected).
In the meantime…
- Follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and/or your National Health Services.
- For students in Ukraine, follow the recommendations of the Ukrainian Government, and Health Ministry, and the information from your respective University Dean’s, or Rector’s Office.
- Stay safe, and observe proper prophylaxis at all times.
- Put in prayers, all those affected by the virus (patients, their family and friends, and healthcare staffs).
