Established in 2013, SMAG (Studio for Media Architecture and Graphics) produces architectural and graphic design projects, and questions the collaborative process of these two fields. Diversity, awareness, sensitivity to the environment and human, and interaction with them are the main conceptual keywords of this process. It has a design team believing in the power of producing together and starti
ng to each new project with a new excitement. SMAG produces architectural projects from
concept design to details based on Building
Information Modeling (BIM). It explores the
mathematical relations in design and endeavors
for reflecting the feeling of order to the projects
coming from such relations. Whereas, in graphic design projects, simplicity, functionality and positive user experiences are in the foreground. Experiences in this field are transferred to architectural projects and presentations. SMAG also involves in design competitions, the only free media to tell his promise. It sees it as a productive experince of renewing, developing and questioning. During this provess, it emphasizes admiration and self-esteem instead of jury or award strategies. Establishing some provocative and stimulating works within the subject of built and natural environment in which we live and its interaction with people; and also producing some experimental studies by the use of the power moving images in this field are all the dreams of SMAG in the coming period. The media branch is planned to be constructed for this experimantal works.
