There is limited public transport available but a car is recommended. Arrival Instructions: - From Dalaman you will drive to Marmaris (1.5 - 2 hr), then to Datca (50 mins - 1hr). The roads are in good condition. - When you see the first houses in Datca take the right turn to Knidos at the small roundabout, the road splits into 2 soon, stay on the left which is signed as Knidos (also shows Mesudiye). - After about 20 mins you will see the turn to Mesudiye on your left. This road is winding down till you reach flat land where the road splits again and opposite there are 2 big signboards with directions and restaurant names, etc. - please call us at this point so we can walk out to meet you. Stay on the right, you will see the mosque soon, then the road will make a U turn and will bring you in front of the house. - Shopping: There are shops in the village and supermarkets in Datca. - Sightseeing : There are several beaches around, some accessible by sea only. You can take boat trips around the peninsula or to Greek Islands. Knidos, Old Datca and Datca Marina is worth seeing. There is a surf centre in Datca. A day trip to Bodrum by ferry - a lively and beatiful town but can get too crowded - for some shopping and entertainment. We will be preparing some brochures for you and talk in more detail when you arrived.

The Greek philosopher Strabon said, 'God would send his beloved servants to Datça to live longer'. Datça Peninsula is a prized location for tourists because of the beauty of its many coves and bays with crystal clear waters which are favoured ports of call for those undertaking the celebrated Blue Cruise along Turkey's spectacular Turquoise coast. Datca is also famous for its high oxygen level in the air and the low humidity. Even in the hottest summer months, a gentle breeze will allow for a pleasant stay. The sea and the coast line are stunningly beautiful and there are plenty quiet little bays where you can enjoy the peace and beauty. At the very tip of the peninsula the ancient Carian city of Knidos (Cnidus), home of the Cnidian Aphrodite stands, described by Strabon as 'a city that was built for the most beautiful of goddesses, Aphrodite, on the most beautiful of peninsulas. Mesudiye is the most beautiful village of this peninsula, covered with olive, almond and fig trees.
