News from the Senior Management Team

After more than 12 years representing and championing the Switch® brand, Cynthia Winterhalter has decided to resign from her position as Chief Operating Officer. Although she will continue as a valued member of the Switch® board, in our day-to-day operations we will miss her positivity, her knowledge of our clients’ needs, and her enthusiasm for the leisure industry.

Cynthia says, “This is probably the most difficult decision I have ever made. At this time in my life, however, and after lengthy deliberation, I feel the need to branch out independently and explore new avenues. While I am uncertain where my personal journey will lead, I look forward to the opportunities in front of me. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with clients, colleagues and partners, my dear friends, and I thank you all for our wonderful, shared experiences. I look forward to seeing Switch® continue to grow and innovate under the guidance of our experienced management team.”

Switch International Bowling was very pleased to welcome Mr Wei Yung Lim of Sonic Bowl SG to Izmir yesterday. He visited Switch headquarters, where he met the Switch team and toured the factory. Switch CEO, Alain Winterhalter (left) and Switch President, Ahmet Solmaz (right) enjoyed a great day with Mr Lim (middle), which ended with a handshake! Mr Lim confirmed an order for a complete Switch 18 lane project including 2 VIP lanes and consisting of the new Switch Shield string pinsetter, Switch Style ball returns in the classic blue & silver colours, Switch Genie scoring software and Switch synthetic lanes.
