The Dupnisa Cave (Turkish: Dupnisa Mağarası), aka Dupnisa Caves, is a show cave located in Kırklareli Province, northwestern Turkey, close to Bulgarian-Turkish border. The cave itself, unlike what the original name suggests, is actually three, interconnected caves divided into two separate floors. Its name is derived from the Bulgarian word Dupnitsa (Дупница), related to the word for "hole".
The total dissimilarity and variety of the caves make them an attractive tourist destination. The cave was opened to tourism in 2005, and it is the only show cave in East Thrace.
The upper cave, "Kız", is not open to the public due to the approximate 60,000 total bats of eleven different species dwelling on the walls and ceilings of the cave. Only 200 m (660 ft) of "Kuru" Cave and 250 m (820 ft) of "Sulu" Cave are open as part of the show cave. The "Kuru" cave is open year-round. The main entrance enters "Sulu" Cave, which is followed by a paved gallery complete with handrails. The passage to the area beyond 250 m (820 ft) is permitted only to experienced cavers for exploring purposes.

Kız Kalesi (Maiden’s Castle) which is one of the most important touristic values of Mersin and can be described as the symbol of Mersin, is a castle built on an island 600 meters off the coast. The ruins, formerly called Kyrkos, gave its name to the town where it was located over time.
In the region, which is a very old settlement, there are two castle ruins one on the sea and one on the land. The perimeter of the castle on the sea is 192 meters and it has 8 towers.
There are many historical ruins, especially the church, cistern mosaic, aqueducts, and rock tombs are important.

Dilek Peninsula National Park in Kusadasi (Dilek Peninsula – Great Menderes Delta National Park) is among the most important natural heritages of Turkey, with an area of 27.598 hectares.
Dilek Peninsula, declared in 1966 as a national park, covers 10.985 hectares. Great Menderes Delta, declared in 1994 as national park, covers 16.613 hectares. The national park can be reached via the Kusadasi (Kuşadası) – Soke (Söke) highway, and lies roughly in the middle of the two towns.
It is possible to stay in the national park in tents or caravans, and there is food available. Dilek Peninsula National Park in Kusadasi has extraordinary beauty of Mediterranean flora with blue and emerald colored clean beaches.

Want to visit a site that has been inhabited by some of the earliest human communities? The site of Karain Cave has been occupied for thousands of years before the pyramids were even a thought! Recent archaeological excavations have revealed a plethora of stone and bone tools dating from the Middle Paleolithic Period (a section of the Stone Age).
You can visit Karain cave on a day excursion from Antalya in combination with the trek to the nearby ancient city of Termessos (map). Termessos is only a 30-minute drive away (~19 km/12 miles). If you fancy a little more hiking you can visit the Roman Road at Maximianupolis near the modern village of Kovanlık which is only a 30-minute drive away (~19 km/ 12 miles).

Foca (Phocaea) was one of the most important settlements of Ionia. Present western civilization was founded in Ionia in 6th century BC. Ionia at that time led the fields of philosophy, architecture and sculpture. Telephanes of Phocaea (5th century BC) was such a successful sculptor that he decorated to Persian palaces with his work. Theodoros (4th century BC) was a famous architect. Dionysos, a commander who led the Battle of Lade, was from Phocaea. This commander was named after ‘God of Wine’- Dionysos who is one of the biggest heroes of mythology.

Laodikeia is situated in an excellent geographical location on the south side of the Lycus River, 6 km north of Denizli. The city was called ''Laodikeia on the edge of the Lycus'' in ancient sources. According to other ancient sources, the city was founded by Antiochos II in 263-261 BC and named after Antiochos' wife.
Laodikeia was the most famous and influential city in the 1st century B.C. The remains of the city are dated from this era. The Romans made the city the center of Kybira's conventus (Golhisar-Horzum) because of the geographical setting.

Patara Beach is actually the longest beach in Turkey, and it has not been ruined by development the way so many other beaches have. This is largely due to the beaches proximity to the ancient city of Patara, but it also has the protected Loggerhead turtles that have been laying eggs here for the last 40 million years.
The backdrop to the beach is stunning; the limestone peaks of Lycia rise up in the north whilst farmland dominates the plains below. This is a real nature lovers paradise with only dunes, wetlands and a river beyond the beach, in fact barely a trace of humanity. In fact you have to travel around a mile inland to the resort village of Gelemi if you are looking for anythng more indulgent than a snack.

Kastamonu is a city in Turkey. It is an old country. 135 km long coastline of the Black Sea coast. Kastamonu is a mountainous region. Küre (Isfendiyar) Mountains are located in the north and the Ilgaz Mountains are located in the south.
The closest town is Pinarbaşı and the road to the canyon starts on its outskirts. It's a bumpy and dusty 19 kilometre with a lot of rubble road. Fine if you have a four wheel drive.
At the end of the road which took almost an hour and a half to negotiate it's a short twenty minute walk to the viewing point. Mostly down hill there so allow about an hour ten, or twenty for the round trip including viewing time.
So the view. Average at best. You can see better from the roads through the Kuru mountains.
This canyon sifhtseeing terrace is from glass, good for acheophobia for sure, also there is a photography balcony. The road is new and about 300m away between trees to reach from parking area. Another choice to walk more is also possible. You have to wear shoe bags(free infront of terrace).

Cunda Island has the character of a typical Aegean resort town. There are frequent bus and ferry services to Cunda Island from the town center of Ayvalık. Cunda Island is connected to Lale Island, and thence to the mainland, by a bridge and causeway built in the late 1960s. This is the first and currently the oldest surviving bridge in Turkey that connects lands separated by a strait.
The main landmark of Cunda Island remains the Taxiarchis Church (Turkish: Taksiyarhis Kilisesi). The large, former Greek Orthodox cathedral was abandoned and dilapidated, but has now been restored and houses one of the Rahmi M. Koç Museums. Poroselene bay in the north of the island is among Cunda's main sights. In antiquity, it was the home of a dolphin which saved a drowning boy, according to a story mentioned by Pausanias.

There are many historical artifacts and building in Pierre Loti, commonly visited by tourists and travelers who come to Istanbul in 19th century. Double-epigraphed, wooden “Kaşgari Tekkesi”, dated 1813 and located on the way from the tourist facility to Eyüp Mosque, is one of these structures.Another important Persian-epigraphed building, at the right corner of the service area and located at a trivium, is “Çolak Şeyh Hasan Türbesi.” A part of this building is çilehane(çilehane is a place in which a dervish undergoes and suffers to strength his patience.) and Çolak Hasan Dede’s grave is here too.The historical building, on the same way with “Çolak Şeyh Hasan Tekkesi”, is “Sıbyan Mektebi” or a nursery school in today’s context.

Acarlar Floodplain Forest was registered as a protected natural area by the Committee on Conservation of Cultural and Natural Assets in Bursa on its all coverage of 2,800 ha (6,900 acres).
The lagoon's area decreased about 40%, 9,443 km2 (3,646 sq mi), after the discharge stream Okçu Creek was widened and turned into a canal by the local authority for soil and water in 1971. To protect pheasant and water birds, a partial area covering 1,576 ha (3,890 acres) was registered a wildlife conservation area in 1976 that is the only one of its sort in Sakarya Province. It was enlarged to 2,517 ha (6,220 acres) in 2004, and its status was improved to wildlife development area.
The area was designated as a wetland of special importance in accordance with Ramsar Convention on April 2, 2009.
