We did a dive in Tobago and came across this large male lobster in a small cave at 60ft ... luckily he allowed himself to be caught ... and we cleaned it, then seasoned and did a Trini curry cook up ... it was delicious ....!!
When we catch lobsters, the rules of engagement are as follows :
1. Do not attempt to catch if one must damage the reef.
2. Lobsters are caught by hand, not shot or hooked.
3. If the lobster carapace is less that 3 inches it must be released.
4. if the lobster is pregnant and with eggs, it must be released.
5. We catch only what we will eat.

Our lobster supply / numbers are drastically less than past few years and we seem to be depleting our supply faster than can be sustainable.
