At the top of a mountain in grand couva, there sits a true gem, the Santa Luisa coffee house.

The view is breathtaking as you gaze southeast over the Gran Couva valley. The building is beautifully done to be reminiscent of a turn of the century 1800/1900’s estate grand house.

The menu was affordably priced, with a diverse range of items however we’d get to the negative soon.

The service, this is a new business and we were at a quandary if we should speak about it but we believe honesty is important to you our followers…..

Today was a busy day there and the establishment was overwhelmed by the quantity of customers and had one waitress, this was quite a challenge as she bearly speaks English.
She was unsure as to what items were available, and got the order 75% wrong.

This was not so bad as the coffee she did bring although not what we wanted was absolutely amazing! This by far is arguably the best coffee in Trinidad.

At the front desk they apologized and even offered to have this on the house but we were still pretty happy with the overall experience and opted to let them know we would be back!!!!

Wanted to take a moment and thank some guys who helped make the Trini Trails hilux look great again

The paint job was done by Gerald, he made this happen in six days from dented and scratched to shiny and blue!!!! Give him a call to have your ride restored!!! 394-9512

We highly recommend if your in the mood for some delicious generous portions!!!!!!

The eastern end of the cross, closer to jta, the lil local area we seldom visit the was a strange new cart……. Tex/mex grill??? Well of course we had to try it and share the experience with you guys!!!

We were greeted by Alvin who was most pleasant and had fun explaining his menu to us!

Fried chicken, I would boldly say in capitals THIS IS THE BEST ON THE CROSS at this current time!!!!!!
It was soft not over cooked and had that desired crunch with soft delicious well seasoned cooked to the bone reminiscent of home style but proper thing if you know what im saying……

The chicken sandwich was boneless battered chicken simmered in sauces made from scratch, the veggies were fresh…..

The spicy wings should come with a warning tough, they were nuclear hot and had us rushing for hydration luckily they serve drinks!!!!

Tex / Mex we bought the chicken and the pork,

On the justice scale 15/10 the serving was past adequate and as we learnt the marinade was prepared from scratch by Alvin, it was cooked on a grill giving that sweet Smokey flavor.
