Appointment Cancelation for U.S. Citizens and U.S. Visa Applicants – Hurricane Beryl

A Tropical Storm Watch has now been issued for Trinidad and a Hurricane Warning has been issued for Tobago.

Therefore, all routine American Citizens Services (ACS) and U.S. visa appointments for Monday, July 1st are canceled.

ACS will only offer life or death emergency services to U.S. citizens only. To reschedule your ACS appointment please email us at [email protected] and be sure to pay online at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1156527186/

Please do not come to the embassy without contacting us in advance.

BREAKING: Tobago is now under a Hurricane Warning (Orange Level) as of 8:00 AM.

According to the TTMS, this upgrade to a Hurricane Warning means there is a higher potential for hurricane conditions, including sustained winds in excess of 100 km/h, within the warning area, within the next 30 hours.

The Met Office says, "At this time, the system poses no direct threat to Trinidad, as the probability for Tropical Storm conditions is low (10-25%)."
