Our dress rehearsal drama, two days before the show. 😰
This was my first "proper" production, rather than just a student showcase. Needless to say, a lot of lessons were learnt. A. Lot. Of. Lessons. On the day of dress rehearsals, (apart from our costume dilemma, story for another day), due to unforeseen circumstances, we had MUCH less time than anticipated to rig our silks. Therefore I was unable to adjust the height of the silks to be ideal... and so they were HIGH. Like, high high...too high for my minis. ☹️
However they were amazing and powered through the rehearsal and did their best. But that also meant some of them did not get a proper full rehearsal but they still did AMAZING on stage. 🤩
I do not know if I could have done what they did on stage at their age. They are truly so brave and they inspire me to be brave also. I cannot wait to see them on stage again next year, as they have certainly stepped up their skill level and we have certainly planned two full dress rehearsal days.😄 #lessonlearned
As the year comes to an end I have found myself reminiscing on how amazing our 2023 UN THEMED show was. I truly still feel so proud of each and every one of our aerialists. As I am clipping videos from the show I can't help but think about how much hard work and preparation went into this production. 🥲
From costume failures to rigging challenges, transporting all the safety mats and making sure every one was feeling good before going on stage, it was certainly a massive learning experience from start to finish! 🫶
One of my goals for 2024 is to be more consistent on social media, and I start today! I want to share some of my favorite parts of the show with you, along with some BTS drama and entertainment that went on before we were stage-ready. So stay tuned for some good old blogging and epic videos.. 2024 habits begin today! 🌠

My #1 workout. I’ve always been a dancer. Silks is just another way of expressing yourself through dance...in the air. 🦋
Did you know inversions (safely hanging upside down) can make you TALLER! Hanging upside down relieves pressure on your spine, letting it stretch and relax. This can improve your posture greatly and therefore lengthens your body!! Cool right!? ALSO did you know that early access registration for Ground School is now up on my site! The course launches on May 11th and I couldn’t be more proud. ✨
