Originally we are from the US but now call Kaohsiung Taiwan home, a passion for travel and a deep love for people has motivated us to travel extensively during the last 31 years of marriage. Living on the islands of Palau and Guam for over 13 years taught us that travel has the ability to forever change our perspectives, goals and direction in life. Having close friends who have made Taiwan home,

along with a love for the Chinese language initially motivated us to visit. And our decision to move to Taiwan was not a hard one once we visited, I must say though, we like most westerners really had no concept of what Taiwan was really like. Imagining it was full of big cities and factories made us put off visiting here for years. And again here is where travel can completely change your course of life and your perspective. We immediately fell in love with Taiwan and its people, and quickly realized there were so many facets to this gem of an island. Unfortunately, we found in the English speaking world there is a lack of knowledge and many misconceptions about the island of Taiwan. We would love to change this, our goal is to explore, educate and inspire travel to this amazing nation. What We Do

We are a travel consulting service dedicated to helping English speaking travelers appreciate and enjoy this beautiful island as much as we do. We’ve chosen our travel partners for their expertise and quality of service. All are companies we’ve personally worked directly with. They are regionally based, with established local relationships and connections that you will not get from a travel wholesaler. They are either native English speakers or fluent in the English language. Together we will transform your visit to Taiwan into a trip of a lifetime, carefully crafted and planned so that all you have to do is come and enjoy.

Dihua Street is a charming little street in the Datong District of Taipei. It is one of the oldest streets in Taipei with a whole stretch of nicely preserved historical buildings. Its prominence began in the 1850’s and till this day is still an important commerce center for Chinese herbal products, fabrics, and incense products. Located on the Northeast coast of Taiwan, Long Dong (Dragon Cave) gets its name from the shape of the coastline, which resembles the body of a dragon. Spectacular, sandstone crags rise 70 meters to the sky while crystal-clear waves crash upon the rugged, sun-baked rocks.

Just an hour or so outside Taipei on the NE coast feels like another world. Long Dong is a stunning 2km stretch of golden walls set right against the Pacific Ocean. This is an up and coming climbing destination, with recently upgraded rigging. Snorkeling and cliff diving are some of the other specialties of this area.
