🌅 Early Morning: Start your hike at dawn to enjoy the serene beauty of the sunrise over Taipei. The trails are less crowded, and the air is cooler.

🌇 Late Afternoon: You can also hike in the late afternoon and stay for the sunset. Watch as the city lights up, transforming into a dazzling nightscape.

Scenic Views:

🏙️ From the viewing platforms, you'll get stunning panoramic view of Taipei 101 and the sprawling city below.

🌳 The trail is also surrounded by lush greenery and offers scenic views of the forest and hills.

Directions:

🚇 Take the MRT to Xiangshan Station (象山站) on the Red Line (Line 2).

🚶Take Exit 2 and follow the signs to Elephant Mountain. It's a short 10-minute walk from the station to the trailhead.

⛰️ Take the trail which is about 1.5 kilometers long. It usually takes around 20 to 30 minutes to reach the top depending on your pace. The trail is well-maintained with stairs.
