Camping tents with AC. Taiwan is quite hot in the summer so having an AC installed in rooms and tents is very common. [Not all campgrounds have AC in their tents].
📌 東風茶館民宿露營
Everyone is required to put on safety gears although the water is quite shallow.
Solomon Islanders traveling between islands should also do the same.
Safety is paramount regardless of anyone's ability to swim.
The first day I went to this beach, I noticed the shape of that island in the background was like a fish. I thought to myself that a photograph of this island would be much better with a fisherman in one frame.
Yesterday morning at 5:30 a.m, I went to check, and yes I saw more than 10 fishermen. I waited for the perfect time to capture this photo. My POV, it looks like he's catching that giant fish (island). Pic. of the month for me. 😂
A cute little bridge to access a rice farm.
Only useful during harvesting or planting season. Simple and useful.
A solar panel that powers an "underground monitoring device" that detects soil or rock movements. There's a few hundreds of such sensors in the mountains in Northern Taiwan.
All sensors send data to a data collection center and warning is issued before a landslide or earthquake happens.
(Me lukim Solar ya and jokingly said if lo Solo ya, solar ya missing long time na 😄)
They cut the middle of this building to have a short cut route to the main road.
Hats off to the Taiwan's government for putting a lot of effort into maintaining its hiking trails, ensuring they remain safe and accessible for everyone to enjoy.
📌 Banpingshan and Tea-Pot Mountain Trail
Turtle Island in North East Taiwan.
《It looks like a big whale from this angle. People go whale watching near this island sometimes. Also, the island is uninhibited》
The picture isn't mine. I love telephoto photographs and I share this to show you the beauty of Taiwan. PC: 台灣那麼美
A Balance and Acrobatic Show near the Tamshui river in North Taiwan. Skip to the end if you want to see the power of focus and determination. She's amazing!

A blind drummer in Taipei.
Got teary eyes watching him cuz I felt super proud of him, also the song just made me feel nostalgic. [Song: Daniel Powter - Bad Day]
I shook his hands and talked to him afterwards. He can hear and talk, but cannot see.
Colorful walls. One is in a harbor, the other is near a train station in rural Taiwan.

A glimpse of Keelung city from Tea-Pot Mountain.
Keelung city is renowned for its bustling night market, seafood delicacies, and the iconic Miaokou Night Market, offering a variety of local dishes and snacks. Additionally, it's known for its picturesque harbor and vibrant cultural scene.
In Taiwan, hundreds of talented artists come out to perform every day. Most of them do it for charity, while others do it to perfect their craft or as a preparation for more professional shows.
Below is a young and strong street performer in Taipei, Taiwan. That's core strength show right there.
SIMPLE YET CREATIVE.
📌 Hualien Train Station (East Taiwan)
A young Taiwanese lady playing an instrument called "P**a," aka "Chinese Flute."
The p**a is a traditional Chinese string instrument with a pear-shaped body and four strings. It has a long history, dating back over two thousand years to ancient China. It has evolved over time, undergoing changes in its construction and playing techniques. Today, it remains an important part of traditional Chinese music and culture.
(I never knew this instrument existed until I saw it. Btw, old Chinese songs are incredible and are really meaningful.)

This image tells a lot about Taiwan.
If its in the Solomons, those trees would have chopped off long time ago.
Those who traveled/lived in North Taiwan, guess the location of these trees 😃
📌 Safulak Cafe [Hsinchu, NW Taiwan]
Make a reservation before you go in the weekends. This Cafe is always full of people. It's such a quiet place to relax. The lake is big and there's a few hiking trails around it.
This is a road in Taroko National Park. I went there 6 years ago, took some pictures and all gone when I lost my cellphone. I was planning to visit again anytime this year, but it might not happen because the park was destroyed by the recent earthquake.
The park is closed indefinitely. It might take 5 - 10 years to restore its pre-earthquake beauty.

Seafood here is cheap and fresh.
📌 Yilan, East Taiwan
Original Taipei 101 with its miniature.

📌 Baling Bridge, Dahan River.
View of the old and the new Baling bridges. Both built up high on the rocks, and have been withstanding a lot of earthquakes. That's amazing engineering too! There's a lot to see here; go explore if you have time.
Missim tumas na Island life ya.
Fish + Fire + Beach + 🎶 = 👌🤍
Have a safe and happy weekend everyone.

Pretty chill here in Hualien [near the epicenter of the earthquake]. Taiwan has come a long way. #403地震
Now you can see where some of the large boulders that cause damages on the railway come from. The mountains still dusty since yesterday morning. Some rocks are still on the tracks. #403地震
Rotate your screen to have a better view. This is what the wharf looks like. There's a coffee shop behind the trees to chill.

Have you seen a jellyfish this close? Did you know? Jellyfish don’t have brains. Also, 97% of jellyfish are made of water, not jelly.
