🐆Cheetahs are carnivores, feeding mainly on small antelopes such as springbok, steenbok, Thomson’s gazelle and duiker. They generally stalk their prey, then bite them in the throat to kill them.

- Solitary adults may hunt every two to five days, while a female with cubs may kill one animal a day.
- An adult cheetah eats around 2.8 kg of meat a day.
- Cheetahs rarely drink: less than once every four days, and sometimes only once every ten days.
