Spreo Superbus, el Mirlo metálico, vive en los bosques de Tanzania, Kenia y Etiopía, alrededor de los lagos y cerca de los cursos del agua, ya que es un ave que se baña a menudo. Encontramos este precioso ejemplar en el Parque de Tarangire.

Preciosa pareja de Chacales de lomo negro. Habita tanto en las sabanas, como en zonas de matorral, bosque abierto y regiones semidesérticas. Tiene hábitos nocturnos, aunque es frecuente verlo a primeras horas del día y al atardecer. Es un omnívoro oportunista que se adapta con facilidad para conseguir el alimento disponible que suponga el mínimo esfuerzo, aunque prefiere cazar que alimentarse de carroña. Suele ingerir una cierta cantidad de alimento extra, que será regurgitado en su cubil para alimentar a los cachorros.

Back at the lodge at sunset we came across this great example of impala that still belongs to the group of bachelors that one day fight for his own harem.
