When someone gives their best and perfectly organizes a demanding expedition, I can only give them 5 stars. It wasn't easy to handle 45 hikers, but these guys are the best. I give special credit for finding a balance between fun and safety while always making us feel like part of a huge family. Thank you to Golden Peaks, Paulo, and the crew for making our dreams come true. Recommendation 10/10.

How necessary a supporting team of Guides, Porters and Cook is while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru?

One thing is for sure – you cannot climb this mountain alone. If there was ever a time that you will need other people, climbing Kilimanjaro is it.
You need the Guides to look out for you. And by look out for you I mean advice you on what's right to and not to do while climbing, monitor your health and assist and Insist you mentally and physically to the point of your dreams.
You also need the Porters to carry all your equipment, set the camp, fetch water and so much more
Then you need a/the Professional Cook to engineer all your nutritional requirements.
