ITINERARY SUMMARY
6 Days tour is to witness yourself the wonders of the world in Tanzania. The Serengeti tour will specifically enable you to witness the world largest international mammal migration to and from Masai Mara in Kenya. Nearly three (3) millions of wildebeests, half a million of zebra and antelopes naturally going to and from Masai Mara in Kenya seeking of water and pasture.

The wonders of Ngorongoro is vividly documented by major world’s archives, encyclopedia and museums. Ngorongoro is really the sanctuary of nature where millions of diverse flora and fauna living together in one crater floor to form a world unique ecosystem ever happened elsewhere in the world.

ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 1: FROM ARUSHA TO LAKE MANYARA.
Pickup from your Arusha Hotel and drive to Lake Manyara. Game viewing en route. Lunch at the lodge then followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge before dusk and your Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

DAY 2: SERENGETI PASSING THROUGH OLDUVAI GORGE.
Depart after breakfast to Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge the site for Leakey’s family discoveries of fossils of human and animal ancestors dating to almost two million years back. Game viewing enroute, with an afternoon game drive .Dinner and overnight at lodge in the park.

DAY 3: A FULL DAY SERENGETI
A full day in endless vast plains of Serengeti National park, Enjoying a morning game viewing. After Lunch you proceed for an afternoon game drive and your dinner will be served at your lodge overnight at lodge.

DAY 4: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO
Early morning tea or coffee followed by a morning game drive. After breakfast depart to Ngorongoro, which is among the seven wonders of the world, The Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight at a lodge on a rim of the crater.

DAY 5: THE NGORONGORO CRATER.
After breakfast you will start descending 2000ft down the crater by using our 4 wheel drive safari vehicle for a full day exploring the crater, Then you will have a break to enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater. After lunch you continue with Exploring this magnificent crater while concentrating on hundreds of games inside the crater.Then later this day you will ascend back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA
You will enjoy your breakfast in the restaurant at the lodge then after breakfast depart for Arusha arriving Arusha in time to lunch

The African wild dog (Lycaon pictus) also called the African painted dog and the African hunting dog,u is the largest wild canine in Africa, and the only extant member of the genus Lycaon, which is distinguished from Canis by dentition highly specialised for a hypercarnivorous diet, and by a lack of dewclaws. It is estimated that about 6,600 adults (including 1,400 mature individuals) live in 39 subpopulations that are all threatened by habitat fragmentation, human persecution, and outbreaks of disease. As the largest subpopulation probably comprises fewer than 250 individuals, the African wild dog has been listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List since 1990.[2]

The African wild dog is a highly social animal, living in packs with separate dominance hierarchies for males and females. Uniquely among social carnivores, the females rather than the males disperse from the natal pack once sexually mature.
The species is a specialised diurnal hunter of antelopes, which it catches by chasing them to exhaustion. Its natural enemies are lions and hyenas: the former will kill the dogs where possible, whilst hyenas are frequent kleptoparasites.[4]
Like other canids, the African wild dog regurgitates food for its young, but also extends this action to adults, as a central part of the pack’s social life.[5][6][7] The young are allowed to feed first on carcasses.

Tusks are used to help with feeding - prising bark off trees or digging up roots - or as a defense when fighting.
