"Then we were met by our guide Jeremiah, who, from the start, startled us with his sense of humor and his sunny personality. We would joke around the whole 7 days and it was more like a friend showing his friends his country. He was always in full control of every situation and handled the Safari like the professional he is. Also he knew everything about fauna, flora and wildlife (without looking it up in a book). 🌾

Having a guide like Jeremiah makes the difference in having a good or a bad trip. If you decide to rent your own car and go to national parks: good luck. “At this point I would like to make a special mention of our EXCELLENT tour guide – Witson Nanyaro. With his extremely courteous, calm manner we felt safe and comfortable at all times. Even when the road was bumpy and uneven, he drove us safely and with foresight through the Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks. He knows his job very well and you can see that he is very passionate about it. With his incredible knowledge about the animals, nature and culture of Tanzania, he answered all kinds of questions or shared his knowledge with us. Witson is also not too shy for a joke and so a wonderful atmosphere was created during our adventure.” 🐘🌿

“The safari was amazing, everything was perfectly organized, the accommodations were beautiful and our guide Daniel was the best we could have. He answered all questions we had and gave us a lot of info regarding animals, nature, African and Masai culture, food, politics and many other topics. 🌾 Thanks to Daniel and his experienced eyes, we saw a lot of animals we could have never spotted by our own. This was an incredible and unforgettable holiday, we are back to Europe full of memories and beautiful pictures. Thanks again Arno and Daniel!”

Machame Route 6 days (04.12. – 09.12.)

Day 3: New Shira Camp (3,845m) to Lava Tower (4,640 m) to Barranco Camp (3,960m)

Well-rested our guests today hiked up to Lava Tower and back down to the beautiful Barranco Camp. With a bit of luck, they enjoy spectacular views of Kibo from camp. ⛰️

ℹ️ Today’s focus is acclimatisation: Following the “climb high, sleep low” maxim, our climbers slowly expose their bodies to the higher altitude, increasing their chances for a successful summit. Over the 6-to-7-hour hike, vegetation changes to an alpine desert towards Lava Tower and takes our guests through the Barranco Valles with its lobelia and senecio plants.

“After 1.5 years of waiting (thanks to Covid-19) the time had finally come and we could realize our dream vacation to Tanzania. After a detailed briefing by Eugene, Tumaini who we consider to be the “world’s best guide” took us into his care and the great adventure Safari-Tanzania could begin 🐘 Tumaini is a very authentic and fantastic guide with a lot of knowledge about the animals and their habitat 🌾 We felt safe and in good hands with him from the very first moment. He is an excellent driver (especially on the massage roads) with a fantastic flair for finding animals in the wild. We had a lot of fun during the tour, Tumaini became a real friend to us during the safari 💚 Together with his colleague Silayo, whom we met several times on the road, they were an unbeatable team. "We had a great time on safari in Tanzania with our guide Lazaro. (...) He is a really gentle guide with always good mood, very friendly and patiently. We spent hours for watching a leopard climbing down the tree or to see lions on their copulation. After safari we spent some time with Lazaro in the evening during dinner talking about the people in Tanzania, his life and the politics. "Wow! Tanzania-Experience exceeded our expectations. We saw every animal imaginable and had many, many very close - but safe - encounters. Our guide, Enock, seemed to know everything about animal behavior. He often predicted what they would do next and was correct every time. Our tents were roomy, sturdy and clean. Amazingly, our delicious food was cooked over an open fire. The Plantation Lodge and Qambani (Zanzibar) perfectly pampered us. “I've been trying to do this trip for over 10+ years, so it was a realization of a long-standing dream. This will rank up there as one of the best family trips we have done, and I'm sure the kids will never forget the glory of riding in an open-top safari vehicle through the Serengeti and seeing the veritable plethora of animals roaming around and being almost within arms length from the car. Adding Zanzibar at the Karafuu Beach Resort on the end was a great option, as the beaches, the snorkeling, and people were all amazing. Our itinerary was: Arusha - Tarangire - Lake Manyara - Serengeti - Ngorogoro - Arusha - Zanzibar. The lodges and beach resort we booked were amazing, especially the Kubu Kubu tented lodge in the Serengeti. Sipping wine in the infinity pool, while the sun was setting over the Serengeti was unforgettable. Chaz was an amazing safari guide, and he kept the family safe and happy which was my number one priority. He was very friendly, punctual, and was extremely skilled at finding animals - he even saw a very far off rhino that I thought looked like a dot (we eventually did see a closer view). We are still in awe at being able to see lions, elephants, giraffes and a host of other animals in the wild within 10-15 feet from the safari jeep. Overall, everything went without any issues as it was a meticulously planned trip by Tanzania-Experience. Machame Route 6 days (05/07-08/07)

Tour start

Two guests made their way to Tanzania to start their adventure to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro After equipment check and a pre-climb meeting by our operations manager the day before they got picked up this morning and transferred to the
Machame Gate (1,790 m). Once the formalities have been sorted out they entered the tropical rainforest and spent 5-6 hours hiking under a thick canopy of indigenous trees. Just above the tree line is the Machame Camp (3,020 m) where hot dinner will be served and provides shelter for the night. Enjoy your climb!

Machame Route 7 days (18/02-24/02)

Summit day

Exciting news from the roof of Africa! All six guests stood at the top of the highest mountain of the continent, Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Congratulations to that! It was a long way up and freezing cold but they kept going until the sunrise and enjoyed 360° panoramic views. Many thanks to the guides and the mountain crews for the tireless support. Well done everyone. This is a 100% success, very proud.
