FORODHANI GARDENS:- Is the bustling place of assembly set out between the Indian Ocean and Stone Town's most Iconic buildings,like old fort and house of wonders. The word Forodhani means customs, this place is close to the site of the original customs house.

When it's your first time to be in Zanzibar,Tanzania,this is one of the first place to put in your to do list. You must visit this place(Garden)day time and evening/night time to see it's huge different between day time and evening time. Day time it's very quite and chilling place to seat and enjoy nice wind and panoramic view of Stone town ocean. In the evening there's different activities such as local young people jumping (makwachu) to the water when it's high tide,also there is different local people come with food to sell or prepare some food straight infront you,i.e Zanzibar pizzer, Urojo (Zanzibar soup) etc. They sell different kind of food seafood and other bites for the tourist and local.
Mostly popular food here is Shawarma, Zanzibar pizzer, Urojo, Juice ya miwa(sugar cane juice), Barbequed meat. To be at this place it having another experience to know how Zanzibarian celebrates their birthday, spend time with family when they get out;how they dress etc
