Ally Sauko, guide in Lushoto Hi! My name is Ally and I am a professional guide in Lushoto since 2010. Up for a hike? Please don't hesitate to call me. Cheers. Ally Sauko

A typical 3 days hike :
(price includes accomodation, food, and guiding, you only carry water, camera and clothes for the 3 days)

First day starts from Lushoto passing through Magamba forest, for lunch we will stop somewhere in the shade and I'll prepare my unique and personal Guacamole made with fresh and local vegetables that you will eat in home made Chapatis. A fruit for desert and then we a

re ready to continue. We shall then overnight in Lukozi village and sleep at Papa Moze cottage.

2nd day after breakfast,we will walk through more villages, fields, small hills, easy up and down walk till a convent where we will sleep for the 2nd night. Lunch is also included of course. For dinner hope you have appetite because the sisters will prepare a big meal with products they farm themselves. I have never seen any guest finishing all the dishes they are bringing!

3rd day, after leaving the convent, we will walk through Shagayu pine forest planted forest then through Sunga village to have lunch there. Mtae village is the last stop and I'll take you to an amazing view point where you can see a well deserved beautiful sunset on the Usambara mountains. We sleep there then take the local bus (dala dala) back to Lushoto. These trips are tailor made, we can meet and discuss shorter and longer hikes as well.
