Makoa-Farm, our base, is located in Northern Tanzania, south of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain

in Africa. We offer our guests an intimate and personal horse riding holiday, affording them the best that East Africa has to offer in terms of the African “Bush”. Our horseback safaris are highly personalized and very much ‘off the beaten track’. You will be accompanied on all rides by your hosts ensuring that your riding holiday will be a truly memorable one. Makoa-Farm offers refuge for wildlife in trouble and the Wildlife-Rescue station with attached veterinary surgery receives new arrivals almost daily - this makes Makoa a really special place.
