DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Our driver/tour guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport preferably during the early morning hours and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the amazing Gorilla Trekking. Your first stop will be at Uganda Equator for photography and a quick snack. You will proceed to Mbarara where you will have Lunch at Igongo Cultural Center at around 1:00 PM. After lunch you will proceed on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park-arriving in the evening. You will check in at your Lodge for Dinner and overnight.
Travel Time: 8-9 hours

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters with a packed Lunch where you will be briefed by the park rangers about what to do and not to do while in the park. After you will start gorilla tracking of these gentle giants through the thick forest. Trackers will be ahead of you and your lead ranger will keep in communication with you to show you where the Gorillas are.
This is a memorable and an amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around and also do their day to day activities. This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 8 hours since its dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. Also expect to walk long distances in muddy and steep conditions- this will require you to have a walking stick. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them within a 10-meter distance as you observe their behavior. After you will have your packed Lunch somewhere in the Forest after the trek. Later, you will return back to the lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge

Depart Bwindi for Lake Bunyonyi at 8:00 am after your breakfast. You will arrive at Lake Bunyonyi at around 12:00 pm and check in at the Lodge of your choice. You will have your Lunch and then head out for Canoeing down at the second deepest Lake in Africa after Lake Bunyonyi.
In the evening you will return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Zip lining and a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi


You will have breakfast at 8:00 am and proceed for the thrilling activity Zip Lining challenge. Overcome your fears, Zip line from one island to mainland, go high on the water moving all the way to the opposite side of the Lake Bunyonyi. After the zipline, proceed on a boat ride around the Lake’s major islands including Punishment Island, Bwama island, Akempene island, Adventure Island etc
You will return to the Lodge for Lunch and relax the rest of the afternoon as you enjoy the beautiful views of the Lake.

Day 5: Depart Lake Bunyonyi and head to Lake Mburo National Park

You will have your Lunch and then head out for a boat ride on Lake Mburo. Here you will have the opportunity to see Hippos, crocodiles and a huge array of birds.
In the evening you will return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Stone Town is a city of prominent historical and artistic importance in East Africa. Its architecture, mostly dating back to the 19th century, reflects the diverse influences underlying the Swahili culture, giving a unique mixture of Arab, Persian, Indian and European elements. For this reason, the town was designated as a World Heritage Site in 2000.
Due to its heritage, Stone Town is also a major visitor attraction in Tanzania, and a large part of its economy depends on tourism-related activities.


Prison island
you visit the small Isle off the western coast of Zanzibar. A 30minute-boat ride (motorised) will take you to this exclusive island. The Island was privately used as a place of detention for recalcitrant slaves. In later stages, General Mathews bought it and the gaol, which still stands, was built in 1893, as a central prison for Zanzibar, hence the name PRISON ISLAND. It was however, never utilised as such. Whilst on island, you will be able to see the GIANT TORTOISE and have a delightful swim or snorkel.

Spice tour.
Tropical fruits, Spices and other rare species of other plants are among the different vegetation to be seen on this guided tour. It is not only a tour but also a rare experience to prove why Zanzibar is referred to as the Spice Island. Transfer to hotel and dinner.

Day 3. Relaxing morning in the hotel. After lunch excursion to Jozani forest by private transfer from hotel.
This half day guided tour begins and ends at your hotel. The forest has now been declared a reserve and holds the rare and Red Colobus Monkeys to be seen anywhere else in the world.
This guided tour of three hours takes you to Jozani natural forest; the smaller trees and shrubs make several sub canopies under the highest canopy. You will walk through the nature trail of the forest, which is a habitat for many species of animals and is famous for its Red Colobus Monkeys – the rare specie. Return to your hotel. Dinner at the hotel

Day 4. Relaxing morning in the hotel. Safari blue excursion with dolphins.
The full day guided tour begins and ends at your hotel. You leave after breakfast and head towards Far West of Zanzibar for a day of adventure with the Dolphins, sandbanks, and coral reefs of Menai Bay, a conservation area off Fumba village.
The Tour begins after breakfast when you are picked up from your hotel and transferred in minivans to the fishing village of Fumba. Here you will be given a life jacket demonstration followed by a briefing on the days excursion. You will then board the dhows and set off in search of the Dolphins (85% chances). The species frequently found at Menai Bay are Spinner and Bottlenose dolphins. You will be able to swim with the dolphins as long as they stay close to the boat, but is unlikely to be able to touch them, as they are of course wild animals. You will then go on to one of the selected snorkelling locations. Here you will snorkel while accompanied by a snorkelling guide to show you points of interest and to assist the beginners. Snorkel equipment will be provided.

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:
The tour is based on camping and option for midrange lodges

Day 1: We'll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way we'll pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to glimpse cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth.

It's a nearly four hour drive to the Serengeti park gates, but you can choose to break up the drive with one or both of the below optional activities: with extras cost

● Oldupai Gorge Museum: Sometimes known as the Cradle of Mankind, the Oldupai Gorge Museum commemorates some of the oldest evidence of human habitation ever found. Here you can see some of the oldest fossil evidence in the world of human habitation, visit the Oldupai Gorge Museum to learn more about the human journey, and take in the stunning views of this stark gorge country.
● Maasai boma visit: Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you'll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market.
After a delicious lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it’s time to explore the Serengeti itself. Witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and be amazed by the sheer number of animals that roam these grassy plains.

Day 2: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO

After breakfast, we get right on the road back towards the Ngorongoro conservation area

Our drive takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals that eluded you on day two. As far as the eye can see, you’ll spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators.

You will have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.

DAY 3- NGORONGORO CRATER - ARUSHA

After breakfast, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Crater; considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you'll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation.

Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you'll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa's most recognizable faces. The crater is home to a large number of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as a large population of wildebeest, zebras, antelope, cape buffalo, and more. Stone Town is a city of prominent historical and artistic importance in East Africa. Its architecture, mostly dating back to the 19th century, reflects the diverse influences underlying the Swahili culture, giving a unique mixture of Arab, Persian, Indian and European elements. For this reason, the town was designated as a World Heritage Site in 2000.
