Lake Manyara National Park is comprised of forest, woodland, grasslands, and swamps. Two-thirds of the park is covered by water and Lake Manyara is host to thousands of flamingoes, at certain times of year, as well as other diverse bird life.

The highlight of Lake Manyara Park is the large population of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and hippos, which can be observed at a much closer range than in other parks. This park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons in the world.

The Lemosho Route is one of the newer routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. The route begins in the West and rather than simply intersecting the Shira Plateau (like the Machame Route), the Lemosho Route crosses it from the Shira Ridge to Shira Camp.

Climbers encounter low traffic until the route joins the Machame Route. Afterwards,Lemosho follows the same route Lava Tower,Barrano and Barafu,known as the Southern circuit. The minimum number of days required for this route is six days, though eight days is deal, therefore our itinerary is 8 days.

The Lemosho Route is considered the most beautiful route on Mount Kilimanjaro and grants panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. It is one of our best routes because it offers a great balance of low traffic,scenic views and high summit success rate. We therefore recommend Lemosho Route.

The route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the West, beginning with with along drive from Moshi to Londorrosi Gate. From there the first two days are spent trekking through the rain forest to the Shira Ridge.
