What an accomplishment: Mr. Patrick, 58 yrs, completed the trek in 22 hours to reach Stella's point 5756m, the final point before reaching Uhuru Peak 5,885 meters high.

Because safety is our first priority at Moana Tanzania,
Patrick and guides opted to descend. The weather was extremely severe at the summit with storms.

Barafu Camp: The final campground before reaching Africa's highest peak is Barafu Hut Camp. This resting place is perfect for an overnight stay for those who are trekking to the top of the peak, as the cold and altitude will leave them fully exhausted for the last push to the summit.
